Dr Denmon was back and still creeping around mako. I hated her she kept trying to get Lewis to give her a sample or to be on her side, this was one step to far and for Riki. She couldn't speak.
We all swam out to mako as Denmons men tricked us into the fact Lewis might have been in danger, we all rushed and where picked up on her fish radar. The put mental bars up on the moon pool . We where stuck with her.
Rikki PoV
I looked at the monster who trapped us here only to be a science experiment, it was sick. I then heard a voice come from the tunnel and denmon told us it was the man funding the operation.
I looked at the man to find it was Harrison Bennet, my boyfriends dad. Are you serious. Then he was looking at me, Zane smile dropped to a frown and almost looked if he where to cry.
Honestly I felt the same. He told me there was no use and they couldn't escape , not like he actually cared did he.
I was so hart broken I never wanted to talk, see or listen to anyone anymore, I was done with trusting people. "You know Zane you and all of your friends disgust me" I told him bluntly.
Me and Zane argued back and forth for a while until he suddenly disappeared and we where left to be a circus act for this mad woman.
She kept trying to see what we should do and how to check our vitals and powers over water which we showed her after trying to throw an ice ball at her assistants head.
Zane then came back after a while, I didn't care. Ok I cared a bit I still liked him but I was losing feelings quickly. "Get ready to leave" he whispered to me and I questioned him again.
Denmon was ready for another test, we heard the gate crash.
"That was the sound of goodbye" I said slyly and all three of us mermaids swam away gladly.
