My soda can is empty.
It's been empty since I was born.
But everyone else's cans are full.
Full of rules I was never told.
You can't just get another can.
I'm stuck with this one.
This stupid empty can.
I can't do things full cans can do.
So I observe the full cans.
Watching and learning.
Learning how to pretend my can is full.
Learning how to be like the full cans.
Learning how to be normal.
Even though I try my hardest.
Sometimes people see my can is empty.
They see me as a freak.
My can is empty.
But that doesn't mean I can't be normal.
My can is empty.
But that doesn't mean I can't function.
My can is empty.
And it'll never be full.
