But how?

“Oh god, George are you ok?!" Dream shouted into his mic but before he could say anything else there was a beep signaling that George left the call. Dream looked towards his camera and stared at Sapnap who seemed as shocked as him.

"What.the.fuck." yep, that was the question… Do we know the answer, no. There was a beat of silence; it wasn't uncomfortable but it was tense.

"Dream, do you think George is ok?" Dream looked at the camera, his face was still filled with worry and shrugged.

'How and why are there flowers coming out of my mouth.' George was panicking; sure he would be a little freaked out if there was just blood coming out of his mouth but no these were flowers and he's pretty sure he has never heard of people throwing up flowers.

"To the internet… I guess." His voice was shaky and talking to himself probably wasn't the best solution. It put light on the situation, he told himself. He wiped his mouth and hand down and set the rose; that's what it looked like, on the counter of his bathroom.

"Ok, let's see… Why are there flowers coming out of my mouth?" He quickly went to his pc and typed ‘puking blood and flowers’ and started reading the results. That was a question he never thought he'd be saying in his lifetime, but here he is.

George looked over some articles mumbling every now and then about, he furrowed his eyebrows, every  link gave him the same answer… hanahaki disease, a disease?

“Hana- What?” He scrolled down to keep reading and just got more and more confused. One sided love? Death date? Favorite color? This made no sense to him. Who did he love? He doesn’t talk to enough people to have fallen in love with anybody. Why was this happening?

“Oh- what’s this?” He found something worth his time, something that he read word for word. But as he continued to read more panic began to rise deep inside of him.

“Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease where someone begins coughing up flower petals because they have unrequited feelings for someone. The flowers can grow in the stomach, lungs, or heart, though it is traditionally in the lungs. Hanahaki Disease is a painful, slow disease that often develops over months, if not years, and begins with coughing up a few petals, and grows in intensity and pain until the victim is coughing up entire flowers, at which point the disease has reached its final stages. If not treated, the disease is fatal.” George mumbled the words as if he didn’t still have blood drying on the corner of his mouth and hands.

“What the?” This wasn’t real, this is some sort of nightmare. That’s what he told himself… though he is fairly certain that he is wide awake. Who could he possibly have unrequited feelings for. Nikki is really the only woman he speaks to, don’t get him wrong Nikki is awesome but he is damn sure he doesn’t have feelings for her.

“Oh?” George spotted something in one of the many articles he had been reading. It had been highlighted in the corner of the page so it had to be important.

‘The flower could be their favorite flower, their favorite color, a flower they're named after, or something along those lines.’

That line was something. Something important to note.
