chapter 6

"hey honey." klaus said, grasping the delicate hands sunny had wrapped around his waist.

"oh no, it's not possible." elena began to panic.

"Just relax, Elena. I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on my hit list tonight." he said glaring at the doppelgänger. he sent a cunning smile, switching his glare over to bonnie. "but you are."

he reluctantly let go of sunny, moving her hands back so he could march forward to bonnie who throws him against the wall, narrowly missing sunny who stood directly behind him.

"hey! you nearly hit me." sunny pouted. "you're hurting klausy, put 'im down bon-bon." sunny weakly protested, still having her head in the clouds from her most recent joint.

"now did i mention i knew a witch? you're gonna have to hit a lot harder than that." he smirked, arching a brow at the young witch.

"hey i know a witch too!" sunny giggled. "oh look! shes right there. hey bon-bon." sunny cheerily waved.

bonnie and elena both rolled their eyes at sunny's obliviousness.

klaus looked at sunny in adoration, how could she be so fucking cute. he didn't know.

klaus rushed over to bonnie who threw him into a glass trophy case, the glass shattered upon impact and rained down on klaus. klaus only chuckled.

"by all means fire away!" he laughed, standing up as if nothing had happened.

"if you kill this body, i'll just get a new one. maybe matt."

"ew" sunny giggled. "why would you want matt? hes so-" she yawned, "-boring."

"he sure is baby." klaus chuckled, looking over at elena and bonnie with an annoyed gaze.

"go. run. run!" bonnie hurried them out of the cafeteria. elena yanked sunny out the door, forcing her to run alongside them, away from klaus.

"why are we running? wheres klaus?"

"stop it sunny. how could you even want to be around him?" elena complained, frustrated at her sister's stupid questions.

sunny giggled. "he feels like sunshine."

"god sunny what does that even mean?!" elena shouted frustrated at her sister's lack of panic. 

"well he makes me all warm and fuzzy, and even just the sound of his name makes me feel all giggly inside." she then giggled, reiterating her point.

damon came running down the hall way, crashing into the hysteric elena and bonnie as sunny slowly came to a stop beside them. 

"what happened?" 

"ooh ooh i know this one!" sunny jumped up raising her hand to answer the question when elena beat her to it. 

"klaus is in alaric's body." 

"what?" damon interrogated.

"keep up damon. klausy is in alaric." sunny said slowly.

"hes posessing it or something." elena explained

"go find stefan. now."

"okay."

"now!"

elena ran off toward the direction of the gym in search for stefan. damon faced bonnie. 

"can you kill him?"

"what? no." sunny pouted.

"he's got some kind of protection spell on him." bonnie said, ignoring sunny.
