Y/N - 2nd P.O.V.
Dr Flug was shocked, but not as much as he would be. He knew deep down that you would get yourself into some sort of mess. It happens to everyone. "O-oh, uh yeah. Follow me I guess" he let you inside the house.
You look around and see various paintings, sculptures, and vases. All of the sculptures are weird amalgamations of different animals. They seemed to be fused together. The vases have different patterns on each one. The paintings are all different to, except in each one. There's the same person. A man in a Black top Hat. Who ever this Black Hat person is sure loves to see themselves in paintings. You thought looking around. The hallways where different shades of red and black. This whole place seems off put.
"Before, uh we get to- his office, I need to tell you something." He said as you both continue to walk. He then looks at you. "Well, uh you seem like a pretty ok person, And I don't want you falling down a rabbit holl." He said looking down.
You look at him confused "what do you mean Rabbit Hole?" You asked.
He sighs "well Lord Black Hat's contracts do help people, but uh, in the long run. It just doesn't work out." He said
"Wait- so you don't want me to do this?" You asked.
"Well I mean, yeah, lots of people do end up regretting it due to the fact that they are in debt with him." He said brushing off his lab coat. He coughs "erm, just don't sign his contract. What ever you are in can't be worse then what... he has" Flug said to you.
The closer both flug and yourself got to Black Hats office the more nervous you and Flug get. Especially Flug, you can his sweat through his paper bag. You are not sure whether this was the right call to make or you are about to mess up your life forever.
Flug knocked on the door, then opened it. Once he opened the door to where you could see the end of the room he spoke "um Sir, Y/N- I mean, a girl is here to see you" he said not wanting to say your name for some reason.
The man, who had previously talked to on the phone was sitting in his chair. The only light in the room was the light comeing from the window, which was surprisingly the same color light you saw outside of this house. When you took a closer look in the man's direction you could see the outline of him surrounded by the light. The strange man spoke. "I see you've already met our newest client, Dr" he said with a raspy voice.
This strange man sounds even more terrifying in person. However that wasn't the most terrifying part. The one thing that shook your sole out of your body was when the Man stood up from his chair and came forward, closer to where you and Flug where standing.
You have never seen anyone more terrifying than him, this also includes your mother getting mad at you. He looked like a demon from some other world. Even if there are many different looking people nowadays, this guy is different.
He is dressed in formal clothing with a long black drench coat complete with a black top hat as well as a monocleon his left eye. So this is why the company is called "Black Hat Organization" you thought taking everything in.
"And you must be Y/N" Black Hats voice pushed you out of your thoughts. "I am Quite surprised you're still here." He said looking straight at you. This guy is creepy as hell. "Even after my Dimwitted colleague tried to scare you off." He said more aggressively looking at flug. He looked like he was going to kill Flug. He then looked back at you putting his hands behind his back. "Why don't you tell me what your problem is dear." He said walking back to his desk.
As he sat down you knew it was time for you to speak up about your situation again, and you only hope you don't fumble with your words. "Uh, um, well this big guy is blackmailing for money I don't have." You explained to him.
He looked down at you. Even though he siting, he's still tall; which makes you uncomfortable. "Yes, you've explained that in your desperate phone call." He smiled at you. You where not sure if it was just some happy smile or a threatening smile. Either way it was terrifying.
Flug chimed in, "so how much money are we talking about" he asked.
You sighed "One hundred thousand dollars" you replied not as loud or open.
"One Hundred Thousand Dollars!?" He yelled grabbing the sides of his paper bag. Jeez way to make a scene there buddy You thought.
Black Hat looked back at you once again. "I see; well that amount of cash is not something someone as poor and unfortunate, such as yourself, has." He said with a smugg wide grin. He just called me poor in like 5 different ways. "Don't worrymy dear, this organization can help you with that pesky problem" after he said that a rolled up paper appeared in his right hand. He then rolled it out on his desk.
You walked closer to the desk and took a closer look at the paper. It was some sort of contract which was exactlywhat Flug said. So this guy really does contacts. The paper also looked very old, it seems a little burt up and has lots of tears and scratches on it. The writing is in cursive, but you could still somewhat read it. You where no fool, you knew not to sign anything without reading, this includes the papers to your house.
Next to the contract on the right where 2 quills on a golden stand. You then looked to the left of his desk to see a golden name plate that said "Black Hat." This guy seems legit, Sort of. You weren't sure how to put this but all of this seems so off putting. You felt like you where going to sell your soul away or something. In fact this Black Hat guy seems like the type to eat souls.
When you continued to read the contract you saw the part where you indeed where selling your soul to him.. There was no way you where going to do that. You would rather take your chances with the blackmailing then this.
You gulped and took a small step back. "Oh I wouldn't recommend you do that dear." Black Hats voice boomed over you.

I didn't intend on havingBlack hat speak in bold, it just sort of happened. 🤷♀️ Anywho, how are yall enjoying this book so far. I've know I've been stretching it and I'm sure some of yall are wanting me to get to the good parts. Don't worry, we will get there soon.
