"Uh?! Noona..."
"How is he?"
"Still not waking up." Jimin answered sadly, sitting back down as the older walks towards the bed, "I think the medicines are taking a toll on him, so he needs more rest for now."
Gia nods her head slowly at that, watching the peacefully sleeping Jeongguk on a neatly arranged hospital bed.
"This unfortunate kid." She whispered, almost like cursing, "The signs were right in our senses already, we shouldn't have taken it lightly."
"It wasn't something you know anyways, nor something you can control. We can only be relieved that nothing worst happened to him." Jimin smiled, "All thanks to Jin-hyung..."
Gia sighed but mirrored Jimin's smile anyways, That alpha is reliable after all. She thought to himself.
"Being an alpha around an omega in heat is already something to lose your self-control about, but him, as his mate, the effect of his scent should be more intense right? and yet, he didn't touch him. He should've lost his mind right then and there, but he didn't?"
"It was purely because of his determination." Jimin answered enthusiastically, remembering the very sight he arrived to after he got the call from Seokjin yesterday, "Do you know that Jin-hyung is right handed, noona?"
Gia nods, not really understanding what the question is for but, remembering that Jeongguk had told him that fact before. Affirmative.
"Well, to make sure that he won't lose his sanity nor his self control... He made deep cuts on his right palm."
"A what?!"
Jimin chuckled at the reaction at first, but shakes his head then to further explain that, "He was holding a piece of a broken side mirror inside his palm, clenching his fist repeatedly just so it'll cut so deep and distract himself with the pain."
"That's an insane way, of fighting for sanity."
"Uh--" Jimin burst out laughing, "You think so too, noona?"
Gia just smirked, shaking her head before looking away to continue chuckling.
"By the way, how is Seojung? He must be worried about his Appa?"
"He is." Gia confirmed, "He didn't sleep well last night and just keeps on crying because he wants to see his Appa, so I took him here today."
She paused to sigh, remembering how excited the toddler is just this morning when she told him that they're going to see Jeongguk today but,
"But I didn't know that a 3 year old is not allowed to go inside so I was forced to leave him with Taehyung and Taemin outside."
"Uh--yeah, I forgot to inform you about that, noona--"
"It's okay." She's quick to assure, "You didn't know that we're visiting anyways, and your Taeddy bear explained it to us patiently outside already."
"That's a relief."
"Yeah," Gia agreed,"He's actually better for the job, cause he had convince Seojung to stop crying and wait outside patiently with Taemin. If that was me, I would've opt to fight the guards instead."
Jimin burst into a pit laughter again, shaking his head at Gia's bluntness, although he know so well that she'll do that if she can.
"Don't worry, you're the first person I'll call when Jeongguk finally wokes up." He then assured, making the both of them direct their gaze at the youngest in the room, "He'll surely look for his son first thing, anyways."
