"Oh, you're here?"
"Yes, can I talk to you for a while Mr. Yun?"
"Yes, but I'm still working so you'll have to follow me around."
Jeongguk nods, walking forward when Mr. Yun started pushing his cart forward too.
"Uh, I... I actually want to apologize first for troubling you that much Mr. Yun." Jeongguk started, "The receptionist told me some of what she remembers about the incident and I found out that you're the one I troubled a lot so I'd like to say I'm really really sorry Mr. Yun."
The elder nods, stopping on his track to start mopping the restroom floor, cause he indeed have a work to do.
"There is nothing to be sorry about." He says after a short silence, "I have daughters that are omega and my mate is an omega as well. So I know that what happened to you, is something that you cannot control. I helped you while hoping that... if something like that happens to them there will be someone to help them too."
Jeongguk smiled thinking that this man might be, the 3rd alpha he met in Seoul that is different from the rest.
"But do you know now why an omega cannot survive in this field of job?" Mr. Yun asked all of a sudden, looking straight at Jeongguk's eyes now.
He seems serious about this matter, so Jeongguk straighten up his posture before nodding and replying with,
"Yes, I understand it now Mr. Yun. Loud and clear."
"That is good to know." Mr. Yun sighed, "Seoul is a very dangerous place for naive and mateless omegas, so I hope you can keep that incident in mind and find a different job. Live your life a little more cautious."
Jeongguk nods again, holding out the paper bag he carries, now, to Mr. Yun.
"I know it isn't much Mr. Yun, but I made those myself. That's the only way I can thank you."
Mr. Yun--even though he's confused at the gesture--inspected the content of the bag and found alot of food and gifts in it. Too many for one person.
"I hope you don't get me wrong." Mr. Yun started, looking up at the younger again, but with a warm smile now "I'm grateful for this, but I wasn't really the only one who helped you that day. In fact I only do tiny things compared to what our CEO does... He beat the alphas who tried to get you, he showed dominance that made everyone back away, he also take you out of the building himself even though he's clearly having a hard time containing your scent too. You got to the hospital safe and still arrived here cheerfully like this, so in my opinion, the one who deserve this gifts is him. He protected you like you are his mate."
Jeongguk smiled bashfully, shaking his head to shake away all the thoughts that Mr. Yun's words had created.
"I'd love to give him gifts too."
'Looking back, I've never really gave him anything. It was always him who gives stuffs.'
"But Mr. Kim and I, we are not in a position where we can give each other gifts freely."
'He'll probably just throw it if I tried to do so now.'
"It's kinda complicated to explain, myself, but don't worry Mr. Yun, I'll be going up to his office today to thank him personally anyways."
"Alright, then I won't pry anymore. Just--" Mr. Yun cut himself off to show the paper bag, "Thank you for this Jeongguk-ah."
Jeongguk smiled genuinely and nods, "Please enjoy it." He says before bowing twice as he also says his goodbyes to the elder.
