Chapter 1: The Dark One

Cletus Kassidy fell through the bell tower of a cathedral as the bell rang loudly, as Cletus hit the ground, there was no symbiote to break his fall due to the vibrations from the bell him and Carnage split apart, as Cletus hit the ground, his bone crack, fractured, split, and broke. One of his legs bent the wrong way as well as one of his arms, his ribs caved making it hard for him to breathe. With his one good arm he reached for Carnage as the symbiote approached him before a foot stepped on the symbiote then put it within a container, Cletus looked up to find Dracula with a smirk standing over him, "Who the hell are you man?" Cletus asked as he grinned, "I've had many names my friend, Vlad The Impaler, Jack The Riper, but you may know me as Dracula." He answered as he lifted Cletus' broken body off the ground with one hand, "You would have made a fine addition to my team but you never would have let use your little friend here for what I needed, and neither will Brock so I'll need to get rid of him as well." Dracula said as he smirked at Cletus who coughed up blood which disgusted Dracula, he wouldn't even drink blood from a human being so vile, "If there's one thing I've learned about this city, it's that you'll never win." Cletus stated as Dracula grin faded as his satisfaction turned into anger, "We'll see about that." Dracula said and with sudden hand movement, Cletus' neck was snapped, Dracula dropped his body as he looked at his handy work.

Several hours later, Blade arrived at the cathedral and found the body of Cletus Kassidy, his neck broken, bending almost completely to the side as well as almost every bone in his body broken, he looked at Cletus'chest and found the signia of Dracula carved into him, Blade didn't why Dracula took the symbiote but he knew he was going to need backup in order to prevent whatever Dracula was from unfolding.

Meanwhile halfway across the city, Spider-Man swung across the city as he heard from a distance a loud bell-like noise, then a familiar monster-like scream, followed by the sounds of crashing and bricks smashing on concrete, "That can't be good." Peter said to himself before swinging off in that direction. Once he arrived and saw a man in old fancy clothes standing over another man in bad condition as the man in fancy clothes put a black goo in a container, Peter immediately knew who the man on the ground was, it was Eddie Brock. "Hey! Hands off the goo monster!" Peter shouted as he shot a web at the man in the fancy clothes disappeared in a dark red-ish black mist. Peter landed as he was stunned by what he just saw but he quickly snapped out of it as he ran over to Eddie's side as he kneeled down next to him, "Come on Eddie, stick with me, we gotta get your better half back." Peter said as he sat Eddie up, "Mo-mon-monsters~" Eddie managed to get out, these words scared Peter slightly as he picked up Eddie and swung off.

Bullseye sat on the edge of a building as he lined up a shot before a red billy club hit his sniper rifle, knocking it out of his hands. Bullseye looked at the owner of the club seeing Daredevil landing in front of him. "Well Red, you messed up my shot, I think it's only fair I return the favor." Bullseye said with a cackle, "You talk too much." Daredevil responded as the two began to fight, exchanging blows with each other, until a dark red-ish black mist appeared with a man inside of it who grabbed Bullseye before disappearing back into that mist. Matt looked at where the mist appeared and disappeared with Bullseye, he then went to check on Bullseye's target and found him dead, he checked his neck and found two fang marks in the victim's neck, "Well... Shit." Matt said as he stood up before grappling up to a rooftop.
