I sit in class with a bored look on my face. Out of everywhere I could have gone, it had to be here. School. Learning stuff that I already know. Awesome.

"Mr. Morales, Walking in the dark. You're Late, again." The teacher said as a kid by the name, "Morales" walked in.

The boy winced and stood up straight. "Einstein said time was relative, right? Maybe I'm not late. maybe y-you guys are early." He said and smiled cooly, but his body language showed he was nervous.

I let out a quiet snicker, not at his joke, but since it was dead silent, people turned to look my way. "Sorry. It's just so quiet." I say and put a hand over my mouth. So I wouldn't embarrass myself again.

"So, are you gonna just stand there or do you wanna sit down?" The teacher said briefly before playing the projector again.

Miles quickly sat down in the desk next to mine, and turned forward with stiff posture.

(Don't ask me how you Alr know his name 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤨🤨)

"I liked your joke." I said quietly. "Really?" Miles Said, shocked. "It wasn't funny, that's why I laughed. It was like a joke for idiots, and I bagged up." I shrug my shoulders.

As Miles tried to speak up, the teacher shushed him as she walked through the aisle between our desks. And I glanced once more at him, secretly, and noticed how his left hand came to rest on top of his right hand, like he was hiding something, and it rem me of my spider bite, so my hand unconsciously went on top of my other too.

Later that day, when school was over, I stopped by the door I was assigned. Shared with some random girl named Sophia. But when I got to the dorm, she wasn't there. Like at all. Her suitcase was on her bed but wasn't unpacked. That's weird.

I simply laid in my bed and went to sleep. It wasn't that hard that hard to fall asleep that fast, But hopefully this girl didn't, like, steal my stuff while I was sleeping.

But my spider senses went of randomly. Is someone talking about me? That's weird...

Third prsn-

It was now the next day and As Miles was trying to get to class, he bumped into someone in the main hall. She had pretty blond hair and nice blue eyes. He also noticed she sad a eyebrow piercing. "Hey." She said and turned to look at him. "Uhm, do you mind?" She asked.

"I'm sorry." Miles said, but his feet felt so heavy for some reason. He began to sweat uncontrollably. Why am I so sweaty?!

"Why are you so sweaty?" She asked as his face had beads upon beads of sweat falling down his face.

"It's a puberty thing." He chuckled nonchalantly before his eyes Widened. "I don't know why I said that. I'm not going through puberty or anything. I did. But I'm done. I'm a man." He said his last word with a deeper voice that didn't sound normal.

He took notice of her freshman uniform before asking, "So, you're like new here right? We've got that in common. I'm Miles."

"I'm Gwe...anda." She said, smiling nervously. "Wait your name is Gwanda?" Miles asked as he squinted his eyes. "Yes. It's African. South African. I'm South African. Uh, no accent though cuz I was raised here."

Should I practice my shoulder touch? Nah, it's not worth the rejection on a girl I don't know. But then again, the practice would be useful...

Miles' thoughts ran wild, and he didn't even notice his hand was raising until it was too late.

"I'm kidding! It's Wanda, no G." "Wanda" said as she finished her story with where she came from. Miles hand landed on her shoulder. "Hey." He said, his voice dropping to that same random weird voice he did before, one of his eyebrows raising and his eyes narrow cooly.
