It was officially summer break. Normally I'd be bored during the summers; but this summer was different. I spent it will friends.

Tuesdays we always met up at the tennis court to skate and other 'top secret' things. Other days we did random, whatever we want to do stuff.
Me and Jasmine meet by ourselves, without everyone else, on every fridays after my dad headed off. I was always back on time to dodge the trouble I'd be in.

It was a relaxing wednesday, I was sitting at my desk rolling a dice. "Will I go to heaven?" I thought in my head as I rolled the dice.

Even numbers meant 'yes', and odd numbers meant 'no'.
It flip and tossed around making a juggling sound. I waited patiently as it was making up its mind. Finally it stopped. A four was facing up. I celebrated silently.

I thought of another question to ask. "Am I bad?" I whispered as I rolled the black and white cube. It bounced a few times then landed on two. This didn't make sense. How could I go to heaven if i'm 'bad'? Well they are just dice anyways. It's a 50% shot of either answer.

"Pssst!" I heard through my cracked window. It was Michael. "Come'on let's go to the library."

I got up and walked through my house to meet Michael the front door.
"Where are you going?" My dad said coming out of his room. He kinda scared me actually. "Who are you?" He asked questionably looking at michael through the glass door. Michael came in.

"Imma Scott's friend. Shank ya very much." He introduced himself in a weird way.
"Yeah." I agreed. "Well, im just going to the library, there is a book I need to get."
"What book?" My dad said again. He was really getting on my nerves, I was trying to get out.
"It's called How to Go with Friends...." I said sarcastically. "Can't I just go already??"
"Hmmmm................................................okay. Bye." He finally said. Michael and I slammed out the door.

We sat around a table in the back of the library.
"Hey! Have you ever heard of a Unicorn Penis Fart??" Austin spat out laughing hysterically. Derek tried to not laugh.
"Oh my God!" Jasmine yelled while smiling. "What the heck?"

Derek reached into his pocket and pulled out some cards. "Want to play a game?" He asked scanning through the cards. He spread them out and told everyone to pick one.
We all grabbed one, including derek. "Don't look at them yet." He said. We waited for the signal. "Okay, flip over your cards."

We all flipped them onto the table. Austin had a 7. Michael had a 3. Derek had a 2. Jasmine had a 2 also. I had a 5. "Now, multiply all these numbers together." He said.

7*3*2*2*5=? Austin did the calculations on his phone.
"The answer is 420." Austin said boringly.
"Now look at the time." Derek said with a straight face. I Looked up at the clock, the short hand and the big hand was on the four. 4:20. Wow. Mindblow.

"It's magic." He smiled.
"But why did we times the numbers? Why not add?" Jasmine asked.
"Because.. we have to times it." Derek explained broadly. I thought the little trick was interesting.

"Hey, scott, would you mind giving this to that guy over there?" I looked across the room at an older guy who just showed up. He wasn't looking for book. He was leaning against the wall scrolling through his phone.

"Sure." I said standing up quietly.
"We'll meet you behind the library, okay?" Derek said as they all stood up and headed out. The thing Derek handed me was a cardboard playing cards box. Inside it was a little plastic bag with secret stuff in it.

I walked casually over the the man. He was quite taller than I was, and quite older too. He looked down from his phone at me.
"Here," I said holding the box up. "It's from Derek." I said as manly as I could. He grabbed the box and peeked inside. For some reason I was nervous. I just looked at him and listened to people walking across the hard wooden floor.

"Thanks man." He said as he started to walk away. I knew he was forgetting something. I ran out the library door and caught back up with him.

"You forgot to pay me!" I said loudly towards him.
"I don't pay little faggots." He said still walking away. I headed to behind the library. They were all sitting around in the grass.

"How much did he give you?" Derek asked as I came closer to them. "He knows how much to give."
"Derek, he didn't give me anything. No money." I said.
"What, why?" He said narrowing his eyes.
"I'm a little faggot." I explained. Jasmine was laughing in the background.

Derek decided it was best if we all showed up to teach that man to pay. We headed down Main Street where the guy headed. I didn't want to go, but did anyways. We walked for about a mile until we finally got to the guy's house.
Derek knew where he lived. The house wasn't even a house. It was a trailer, and flies were buzzing around. This little neighborhood was so gloomy, I didn't like being here. There was some awful flutterbies swirling in my stomach. I had no idea what was about to happen.
