Quinn: I sighed lightly as I made my way out of math. It was my last class of the day. I began to walk down the hallway to my car, ignoring the people that I passed calling me 'gg', 'goody goody', and 'goody-two-shoes'.

I guess I'm kinda just used to it.

"Quinn! Call me tonight! I have something amazing that I need to tell you!" I heard my friend Kaitlyn yell from behind me.She was one of my only friends. I nodded in response and gave her a thumbs up without even turning around.

I made my way out to my to my warn out car that Richard, a.k.a my dad, let me use to go to my collage day classes in. I gazed around as I opened the passenger door and threw my bag in the empty seat.

"Bye Einstein!" I heard someone yell across the parking lot. I just let it roll of my back. It's good to be smart, I bet half the people calling me names will be working at McDonalds by the end of the year.

Once I shut the door I made my way to the drivers side door. Once I was in and buckled up I dug the keys out of my pocket and put them in the ignition. I started the car and started to drive down the road.

At the moment I was on my way to pick Ella up from school. As I drove down the road I passed this huge bus, almost like a charter bus or something like that. But I passed it so fast I couldn't see what it was for.

I shrugged it of and continued to drive to the elementary school.

Once I arrived I pulled up to the 'pick-up center'. "Hey kiddo!" I said happily as she jumped in the back seat. She just glanced at me and shrugged. "What's wrong El's?" I asked sympathetically.

She paused for a second, contemplating something. Then she hesitantly handed me a slip of paper. I sighed as I began to read it:

Dear Parent,

We are happy to announce our very first mothers and daughters party! There will be games, food, and prizes. Not to mention our 'Mommy Daughter Dance'! Donations for food, prizes, board games, ect. are greatly appreciated. It will be held this Friday! Hope to see you there!

Thank you,

Superintendent

There where tears brewing in my eyes as I finished reading. I smiled sadly as I handed the paper back to her. "I'll go if you want me to El's." "No that's okay..." She replied as she fiddled with the paper in her hands and looked down.

"But, I will." I said as I started the car again. She nodded as she stuffed the paper in her cluttered Rapunzel book-bag.

*At Home*

"We're home." I said sternly as I glared at the drunken mess in front of Ella and I. "Don't you use that tone missy." my father slurred as he tripped and caught himself on a chair. I chuckled dryly at him as I picked Ella up and carried her into her room.

"Remember the rules about when he's drunk?" I asked as I sat her on her bed. "Yes. Stay in here, and if he tries to come in hide in the closet until you say its okay." She nodded.

I ruffled her hair and kissed her on the forehead as I exited her room, and shut the door behind me. "Fix food." A voice startled me from behind. I turned around quickly to see my drunken father standing there.

"What do you want?" I sighed as he thought for a second. "Pizza." He simply stated as he stumbled back into the living room. I hurried into my room and grabbed my phone. It's the only 'popular' thing I have, you could say.

I quickly dialed CeCe's pizza and ordered two large pepperoni pizzas. After I ordered them I hung up and called Kaitlyn. She's not allowed to come over because of my father but we still talk on the phone.

"Hello?" She answers excitedly. "Hey what did you need to tell me?" "Well, you know those songs I showed you that you love, Beside You and Amnesia?" She asked, the excitement practically slapping me in the face. "Yeah?" I said with confusion.

"Well the band that sings it are going to be in London in a few days! And my mom bought us tickets!" She screamed through the phone. "But, I don't even know who they are..." I whined. "Plus, I can't leave Ella here alone." "My mom said she will watch her. Common! You're my best friend!" She stated.

"I guess." I sighed, "Who are they anyway?" "That's a surprise. But they're hot!" She squealed. She continued to preach about this 'mystery band' a few more minutes before I heard the doorbell ring. Once I finally hung up on her I went downstairs, and opened the door to see the pizza deliverer.

I handed him money that I had found in the living room and went back in the kitchen, served it to everyone, and got ready for bed.

*Later That Night*

My stupid father was already in bed. We'll have to leave kind of early in the morning because he will most-likely be hungover. Once I was in my pj's I headed into Ella's room to get her ready for bed.

Without saying a word she got ready and went to bed.
