First Floor: The Trial of Sloth

Author's POV:

After completing the first level in the Tower of Trials. Mineta along with his new teammates. Obei the powerful brute, Sakuto the analysts professor, Rehishi the beautiful warrior, and Sehei the cold knight. Along with several other humans who were summoned with them to fight through the levels of the tower. During their last level they suffered a great lost of walkers, but the will to push forward still remains. As they continued forth in the levels of the First Trial known as, The Trial of Sloth. Their wills will be tested as well as their resolve to continue on to the second trial.

Mineta's POV:

Mineta: Ha!

*SLASH*

It's been several months since I came here to the Tower of Trials. I know it's crazy but it's true. We've been stuck fighting through these levels because of the insane monsters that we encountered. After the first level we had to fight a wave of different monsters that came in five. The third level consisted of fighting venomous tree roots that poisoned anything that it touched. The fourth level consisted of fighting ice demons that froze anything they touched and the cold environment that we were in didn't help. The fifth level consisted of fighting man eating bats that produced sonic screams from their mouth to damage our eardrums. The sixth level consisted of us surviving an onslaught of combustion creatures that were made of fire and exploded whenever they got close towards someone. The seventh level we had to survive a pit of acid that was alive and lashed out at us with acidic tentacles. The only way we could kill it was by destroying the crystal as its living source. The eighth level consisted of living chains that attacked from each corner, but the chains were laced with a paralyzing toxin with spikes covering the chains. The ninth level we had to deal with sword fighting skeletons that came in waves of three.

Mineta: Ha..Hah..

Now we were on the tenth level, and we were fighting skeletons wearing thick armor.

After being in here for several months and going through these levels we had some serious upgrades.

After acquiring a few gear and new skills it was possible for me to take care some of the monsters that we had to face.

A few of us were leveled up as well.

Sehei: Stop daydreaming. We still have a level to clear out.

Sehei Todoroki, the team's brooding knight. He was a force to be reckoned with and his skill "Ice Manipulation" made him even worse. He was able to create large attacks that sent his enemies flying or in his case frozen. And due to his most recent upgrade he can create objects or monsters out of his ice to attack.

Mineta: I really had that one.

Sehei: You had the skeleton that was about to cut your head in two from behind you? Yeah, I don't think so.

Mineta: Whatever how many skeletons we got left?

Looking around us we saw piles of bones and armor laid out over the floor due to being taken down by the rest of the remaining walkers we still had. After going through these levels we lost a few walkers due to the monsters we had to face. In respect we laid down there bodies and covered them in their capes.
