First Floor: The Trial of Sloth Pt. 3 The Sin of Sloth

Narrator's POV:
After splitting up and taking on various sand demons with different abilities. Mineta, Rehishi, and Sehei all leveled up as they received new abilities to their skills. With the three regrouping with they're groups alongside Sakuto, Obei, and Uri. They encountered a stone sitting along the sand as it was revealed to be a Stone Golem. With the three coming together they fought off the Stone Golem as it was only the beginning of what true horror was. Hidden within a cave an ominous being watched with amusement at them as they fought.

???: It seems we're about to finally have some company after 1,000 years. And this one seems interesting.

Mineta's POV:

Golem: Grah!

The golem roared as it was brought down by Rehishi. With her sword still stabbed into its stone like back the golem looked up at me as the gem on its face glowed.

Golem: To think a foolish sinner like you would be able to defeat the likes of me. My master will be very much pleased once he sees you.

Master.

During our fight he kept on saying 'His Master' like there was someone else ordering him on what he needed to do. Now he spoke of this Master again. I need to know who this master is that we'll be facing.

Mineta: Before we end you I must know something first.

I say walking up to the golem as I press my boot down on its shoulder as I held my katana against its gem.

Mineta: Who is your master?

I asked as the golem seemed to peak up at my question as I felt movement in the gemstone as he looked up to me.

Golem: My Master?

Mineta: Yeah. Who is he or she or it? You kept repeating about them the entire time we were battling and throughout my entire time here in this place it felt like someone else was pulling the strings.

I say as the other two looked towards me in confusion of what I was questioning from a mere golem.

Mineta: So who is your master?

I asked once more as the golem waited to answer, but all I got in return was not what I expected.

Golem: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You want to know about my master do you?! HAHAHAHA, FOOLISH SINNER!

It mocked as the wind felt chilly and the atmosphere changed. Right now it was like even though we had the higher ground someone else was lurking. Watching us make every move we can make. Conspiring against us and making a plan before we even decide to lift a finger.

This must be the work of his master.

Golem: My master is the most powerful of all monsters that you have ever faced. The Sand Demons you all fought in this domain was nothing more than mere creations of his design. Storing each one a stone with a small percentage of his power to increase their own strength beyond their designated limits. In they're deaths they're stones would be given to me to increase my own.

He spoke as I sensed it before he could move. Just as I was about to stab his gem I felt a force that I couldn't penetrate as my katana was pushed back.

Golem: With their hearts my power grows 10x stronger than any demon you ever faced in this domain! RAAAAAAAAAH!

With a mighty roar we were blasted away by him as a sea of sand sent us flying away.

Sehei: Nngh! What's going on?

Rehishi: What's happening?

The two questioned landing beside me as we looked ahead at the golem. With the sand rising from beneath it and over its body I saw the gem on his face glow as it began to swirl around into a spiral.
