— ˗ˋ ୨ Perennial ୧ ˊ˗ —

Perennial, according to Merriam-Webster, means "enduring and persistent." It is an adjective that can be used to describe a variety of nouns. However, I always like to attach it to the word "Love."

Love is perennial. It is something that continues without cessation or end. It never falters and is everlasting.

Love endures. However, it is outside the scope of betrayal and treachery. It is outside the scope of gaslighting and manipulation. Because these are not something to be endured because love is not something to be tolerated but celebrated.

Love persists. And to persist also means to persist oneself from committing betrayal, from committing treachery, from committing gaslighting, and from committing manipulation. Love is always Christ-centered, and only God can certify that a relationship between two people is built on that foundation.

Love does not falter. And if it falls, it was never love.

Love must not be defined by failed relationships witnessed in the mainstream. Love is defined as the One who created us out of it. Keep believing in Love because the world is already in too much chaos and pain.
