David:

When David first invited her to join his group when they met, she laughed at him, not believing a word. But the second time they met, he still insisted that she should join them and she began to realize that he was serious.

At first, she occasionally met with them, exchanging a few words. She was still very distant though.
Time went by and she slowly warmed up to them. After a while she even agreed on hunting with them that night.

On their first hunt together, the four boys were absolutely in awe about the way she hunted and she even taught them a few new things and strategies.
Still, that night, when David asked her once again to join them, she shook her head, stating that she preferred to be alone.

David remembered the day Y/N finally agreed to be a part of their group as clear as day.

It had been two months since she arrived in Santa Carla. Y/N had warmed up to the Lost Boys to a point where she felt comfortable around them, even joining them on their nightly hunts from time to time.

The five of them were sitting in a tree, closely watching their prey, a group of partying teenagers. They were waiting for the right moment to attack.
And when that moment came, they lunged at their prey like a bunch of wild animals that were starving.

When they had fed, they stood there for a while in silence, enjoying the lingering taste of the fresh blood belonging to the now dead teenagers on the ground.
David was the first one to awaken from his daze, his eyes immediately settling onto the female vampire and his heart skipped a beat when he watched her standing there, the light of the moon illuminating the features of her face. He stood there, watching her closely.
She looked so perfect.
The way she stood there, completely motionless, eyes closed in satisfaction, her breaths slow and steady.
And he suddenly realized what he was feeling for her. He had to be with Y/N. He wanted her to belong to him and him alone.

When tearing himself out of his thoughts, he blinked a few times.

"Y/N," he spoke quietly. When the girl looked at him, he felt shivers run down his spine.
"I want you to think about it," he said.
"Think about what?" She asked, a small smile forming on her face. He was sure that she knew what he was talking about. She was just playing with him.
"You know that I want you to join us," David spoke again. This time, her smile didn't fade like it did every time he mentioned this topic before.
She cocked her head, her hand wiping away the remaining blood in the corner of her mouth.
"I know that," she nodded. "And do you remember how many times I said that I wasn't interested?"
David sighed, nodding. "13 times," he spoke.

"Must be a lucky number then."
His head shot up, a frown forming on his face. "What do you mean?" He knew what she meant, he just wanted to hear the words out of her mouth.
"I will join your group."

Dwayne:

Ever since Y/N was staying over at Michael's house, Dwayne's visits became more frequent. By now, he would come over almost every day to spend time with the beautiful girl that he recently met.
Today was one of those days.
It was late evening and the two of them hung out in the living room. Dwayne was laying on the couch, his arms resting behind his head. He listened to Y/N, who was sitting in an armchair, ranting about her day.
Michael and Sam were already upstairs, Michael getting ready for a Date with Star and Sam getting ready for bed.

"...And when I finally got to leave that horrible rollercoaster, I realized that I lost my favorite necklace! I mean – how did that happen?!" The girl exclaimed angrily. "Of course that idiotic worker wouldn't let me search for it later. 'Too dangerous and everything'" She put on a funny voice, imitating the worker from earlier.

Dwayne couldn't help but smile to himself when listening to the agitated girl. "How awful," he commented, causing her to hum in agreement.
"Yeah, I really thought my day couldn't get any worse. But guess what?" "You day got worse?" Dwayne grinned again, looking towards her.
She was staring into space and nodded.
