Chapter 3

Once Kassy got home, she walked up to her room, and threw everything to the floor except her purse. She took out her cell and put it on the charger. Looking at the time, it's a quarter after two.Giving herabout five hours till the party.

Kassy jumped into the shower, washed her hair and body, than shaved. She got out and dried herself off. She wrapped her towel around her hair and tucked it in.

*KNOCK, KNOCK*

There was a knock at her door, she wrapped a towel for her hair and another towel around herself and answered it, it was her Mother.

"Sooo, have any homework sweetie?" Kassy smiled,

" Luckly, no, mom." she said.

"Why are you showering?" her mom asked and leaned against the wall.

"I was invited to a party.." Kassy said then smiled.

"Be careful! And I want you home by 12. Understand me?" Her mom raised her finger towards her waiting for a answer.

"Yes, mom..." her mom started walking away back downstairs. "Oh! Mom! Can I borrow the car tonight? I hate to take a city bus.."

"Alright, but be late and you loose that privilege..." her mom was in the kitchen now.

"Awesome.." Kassy said to herself and headed for her room. She went to her walk-in closet; that she got for her 16th birthday from her dad; he passed away last year from a heart attack. So it was just her, her mom, and Kassy's big brother Steve. Who was away at college. He was a freshman in college.

Kassy picked out a pair of ripped skinny jeans, not slutty, and a white tank top. She wanted to show up cute and non-slutty, so no one got a bad image of her.

She blowed dried her hair, straightened it, than got dressed. Applied light makeup. And than that's when she looked at the clock, "I have a half hour now.." She smiled and grabbed her cell and put it in her purse. Than she turned off her straightner and looked at herself in the mirror, "Perfect."

Kassy looked at the invite while driving, "Oh, there it is!" she said as she was pulling next to a curb by the house. She turned the car off and sat there for a minute. "Ok, here I go.." Kassy grabbed her purse and made a alarm on her phone for 11:40p. So she won't be late for curfew. She put her cell in her purse, took one last look at herself in the mirror and got out. Locked the car and walked up to the house.

The house was a two-story. "Its big.." Kassy mumbled to herself.

"Ugh, who invited the dog?" That was the voice of evil.

"I was invited from Bradin..." Kassy said and turned around.

Kassy rolled her eyes as the other girl walked out back with her girlfriends. She knocked on the front door.

Declan answered. "Hey! You made it." He said as he gestured her to come in. "Thanks." She said; smiled and walked in.

Music was loud, people talking, and dancing.

"This is crazy..!" Kassy said loudly over the music.

"I know!" Declan responded and laughed. "Want something to drink?" he asked while looking at her. "Sure!" she smiled and stood there looking around. It was hard to even see what the inside looked like. There were soo many people.

"Beer?" Declan handed her a red plastic cup and started drinkig out of his own. She looked at him and her eyes widen.

"Joking!" he said and laughed.

Kassy took a sip, it was pepsi.
