The entrance to the outside world opened, I leaped outside my heart pounding in my chest like a hammer. The wind brushed through each section of my hair, the cold summer breeze creeped on my skin, making me shiver, the sharp smell of freshly cut grass filled my nostrils. Today was the day, I'm going to tell him how I really feel. My eyes wandered around the world scanning for that one individual, the eyes paused glancing over to them. A smile began to show on my face, my eyes filled with love. Dragging my feet on the harsh concrete, I feel like a snail. Slowly moving towards their love. My feet picked up the pace, feeling like a cat ready to catch their prey. My companion noticed my steady movement, wonder swept on across their face, his arms locked crisscrossing together. My feet and legs paused, stopping in their tracks. My heart felt like it was in my throat, still pounding like a hammer. My arms and legs shivering, feeling anxious just at the sight of him. My heart pounded harder and harder each second, I gazed into his ocean blue eyes. The burning sensation of the sun swept upon my skin like ease. My eyes darted around the field again, I felt vulnerable. The taste of love crept onto my tongue, waiting for its moment to strike like a wolf. Sweat piled on my forehead, clenching my sweaty hands together as if it were I was about to lose them. I wanted to speak to him but I couldn't find the right words. Words builded on my tongue, wanting an escape. I breathed deeply like I was taking in my last breath, the smell of the cold breeze crept back in my nostrils. My companion gave me a puzzled look, the look of "are you ok?", my body shivered again. I glanced upon him scanning his face like it was the last time I was seeing him, the wind blowing on the strands of his hair, his blue eyes staring down at me, his blond hair shinned in the sun. I swallowed down the lump that was stuck in my throat, shutting the eyes awaiting for the worst as I spoke the words "I love you"
