As the young girl went outside to meet with her beloved, her golden hair shining as the sun hit her head, a slight gust of wind danced through the strands of her hair. Her eyes scanned the field for the one person, she heard laughter and people celebrating that it is the last day of school. The eyes stopped, she found him, he was in their spot near the old tree. The girl dashed to the boy, opening her arms as wide as she could and jumped into his. The boy spun her around, laughter struck from both of them, he let her down, giving her a large grin. "Oh you're so adorable!" She said reaching for his hand and holding it. The boy looked at her lovingly "I'm going to miss you when you're gone" He whispered looking at her hair, it glowed as the sun still shines on her head. The girl looked up at him, looking at his hazel eyes filled with sadness, the wind softly brushing through small strands of his short black hair. "So will I" she softly said, letting go of him. "Charlie! Sweetie, it's time to go!"the girl's mom shouted. Sadness filled both of their eyes. As she was about to leave to go to her mother the boy gently grabbed her arm, "before you go just promise me that you'll wait for me" he said, his words filled with sadness and yet also acceptance. "I promise, I always will wait for you" She smiled at him for what felt like the last time. The boy let go of her arm and they both told their goodbyes and as well as exchanged rings for them to never forget.
