Chapter 5

A/N : Here's chapter 5,right away! I haven't been able to update for two days so I give you,three chapters for today! XD (three chapters = 4.5 and 6)

Stan's P.O.V

It's here,the game is here.

In the corner of the room, the board game was placed. Beside it was a white cat plushie with a card saying,"Are you ready?"

"Hey guys,I think there's something more important that you need to see." I told them.

"What could be more important than finding out why there was an earthquake?!" Shamira said,a bit annoyed. "I didn't hear any warning on the news this morning!"

"Just....take a look." I pointed to the corner of the room. As soon as she saw that,Shamira took a step back from where she was.

"N-n-no! W-why now?!" She exclaimed. She went to the door and found it locked. "Why?!"

June went up to her and hugged her. "Did you forget,sis? We summoned that game here. You don't need to be surprised about it at all." He sounds surprisingly calm despite what happened.

I took the board game and the plushie and placed it on the table. As soon as I set down the bear,the card it was holding changed. Now it said,"Open the game."

I grimaced but opened it anyway. I had no choice.

I opened the box where the game was contained,took it out and placed it on the table. Instead of dice,the game used a spinner. The spinner was plain white and had colored numbers. Numbers 1,2,3,5,6 and 8 were blue. 7 was yellow and 4 was black. I wonder if they mean anything....

The boardgame itself however had a simple design. It didn't look too much like a death game. The boardgame was also plain white. On the game spaces,starting from start to finish,it had 24 spaces. That's a little short. As I looked closer,I saw that there was a separate space for the game pieces.

The game pieces,were oddly,enough for all of us. The eight pieces were designed like a king, queen , jack , ace, bishop , rook , knight and pawn. A mix of cards and chess stuff,huh?

I scattered the pieces on the table. "Pick a piece guys,time to play." I said as I took the king piece.

They all looked at me as if I was crazy.

"Dude,how the hell are we going to play this?!" June said. "We don't even know how this game works!"

"That's right,brat." Tyler said,picking up the Jack piece. "What do you expect us to do? Eat the pieces?"

Shamira laughed at that. Tyler glared at her,making her stop.

"Look,guys. Just pick a piece." I told them. "Something might happen if you do."

Shamira rolled her eyes. Just as she was about to pick the queen piece,Nico swiped it. "What the hell,Nico?!"

"What? What's wrong?" Nico asked in total confusion. All of us looked at him. I snickered a bit. "Guys,what the hell?!"

"You know what?! I'm choosing Ace!" He said,putting the queen piece down and grabbing for the ace piece. Before he could get it,Shamira swiped it.

"Revenge." Shamira said grinning as she waved the ace piece in front of Nico. The others immediately took a piece,leaving Nico with the queen piece.

"Damn you all!" Nico said,infuriated. "Go to hell!"

We all just laughed at him. It's his fault anyway. But anyways,June took the bishop piece.Tyler has the Jack,Summer has the rook,Robin has the knight and Mica has the pawn.

As soon as we got pieces for each of us,the white cat plushie's black eyes turned red. It slowly moved til it could stand. The bear grinned at us and showed us his card.

"This is a speaking card. I cannot speak so I use this card to write words for you all. I am your game master,Yukineko. This game's objectives is to "Destroy the 'End.' Once you do,you will be freed from the game. Please take a spin at the spinner and see which number you get." ---- the card read.

I took the spinner and spun it. It spun for a few seconds and afterwards,the arrow landed on "4".

The plushie meowed and it pointed to its card.

"Your number is 4. This first spin will determine the type of game you will play. I'm not telling what kind though~ It's a death surprise! Nya! also note that every time I meow,I have a new card for you all ~nya. Also your game positions are determined by which game piece you chose. Game positions give you a special skill for the game. I'll tell you what they are after you complete your first challenge. Well then~ start playing!"
---the card read.

I looked at the others. Summer was a bit surprised but she was a little hyped. Nico was calm and kept staring the plushie. Shamira was terrified as hell,together with June and Robin. Tyler,the damn tyrant was like always,he had a careless blank expression while Mica was staring off into space.

"Hey,what do you suppose the special skills are?" Summer said,her eyes sparkling. "Are they some kind of powers?"

"I hope they are." Shamira said. "Powers could help us in a death game."

"W-well,we'll find out later." I said. "Are you all ready to play?"

They all nodded. I spun the arrow on the spinner. Okay,then. Here we go! Our first challenge.

Will we survive this??
