Chapter 8

A/N : A different P.O.V for this chapter ;D It was supposed to be Tyler's turn but meh,I used June. Also this chapter might not be that good. Im not really good at writing fight scenes.... I was supposed to add a drawing of their uniforms for this chap but my camera was blurry so...next time XD

June's P.O.V

Me and Tyler went to our location,the gyms. We first went to the volleyball gym. Usually,a few people would be there practicing but it seems there were none today. We searched around a bit and found no sign of any monsters nor the puzzle.

Next,we went to the basketball gym which also had no people. I looked around and found a little gold chest on stuck on the hoops. Is that what I think it is?!

"Hey,Tyler....do you see that gold chest over there on the hoops?"

"Hm? Of course,I see it..." Tyler replied,uninterested. Geez,this guy...he doesn't get it,does he?

"What if a puzzle piece is in there?"

He looked at me in realization. "Right,right. I'll get it." He went over to the supply closet and got a basketball. He rolled the ball in his hands and stopped when he saw something.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing,just a spider." Tyler said as he bounced the ball on the ground,killing the spider on the floor. I looked around at the spot he was in. Spiders,a lot of them were surrounding him.

"Umm,Tyler? I think there's more."

Tyler bounced the ball. "We can just step on them."

"I think they're angry since you killed their sibling."

"Oh yeah? Then they're gonna die too!" Tyler was about to step on one spider when he realized something. Spiders were around us. Hundreds of them had appeared.

"W-what's going on??!" I said,startled as a few more spiders crawled out of their hiding places to surround us.

"Is this some kind of spider-revenge gathering!?" Tyler said as he shook off a few spiders from his pants.

Suddenly,a figure appeared in front of us. A brunette girl with braided hair. She looked glum and was muttering to herself. She stared at us from a distance with a blank expression. All the spiders immediately crawled away and went to her. The spiders looked like it was a giant black wave about to hit a girl.

"Run!" I warned. She just stood still there and grinned. The spiders finally reached her and covered her entirely. In front of our eyes,a girl had just been consumed by those hoard of spiders. Eaten,probably. I stood there,frightened. Why hadn't we fought?

"My children....my children....I will kill these monsters for you...."

Who was that? W-who's talking? The girl who was consumed by those spiders in front of my eyes....she was alive. There she was completely safe,standing on the same spot surrounded by the spiders. She bent over and talked to the spiders.

"Oh? They killed one of your siblings? That's terrible!" She said as she talked with the little arachnids. "The other boy even tried to kill the rest of you? My,my,looks like these boys need to get punished!" She stood up and faced us. Rage and anger was written all over her face. Suddenly,she transformed into this big spider that reached the ceiling of the gym. All the other spiders had gone back to their homes. Looks like their mommy spider's gonna fight us instead.

I pinched myself. No,this wasn't a dream. Then I remembered something....we're supposed to fight a monster....but it was never specified what kind of monster we were fighting against. So one of our monster battles is going to be this huge spider girl?! No way...just no!
