BEEP BEEP!
The sound of a on-going driving car could be heard. It was a busy road buzzing with stressful morning action. The sun was about half way risen and the morning dew half way gone. It was an absolute morning.
"We are almost there!" said the smooth deep voice of the driver.
The gentle bumps of the moving car continued on.
"Want some water?" the driver asked, they glanced at the rear view mirror.
"Sure" said a low and mildly monotonous voice of the passenger.
The driver reached into a cubby near the car floor and pulled a lukewarm bottle of water out. They pulled their arm back to hand it to the passenger.
It slipped from the driver's hands and away from the reaching passenger's.
"Haha, My bad." said the driver, they smiled nervously.
"No, it is alright." said the passenger, a gentle smile rest on their face.
The conversation made its leave, and the silence began. The car hummed gently as it drove down the smooth road. Occasional bumps made the car throttle quietly. Out the window a simple suburban neighborhood could be seen, but the neighborhood was coming to a close. The roads were packed with rush hour lackies. It was going to take much longer than anticipated.
"Traffic is pretty bad. I doubt the highway is any better." said the driver.
They glanced into the rear view mirror once again.
"We have time." said the passenger, unbothered by the delay.
The road was slow, but as time passed the road began to speed up.
The car was now on the highway. All was well and the delay began to shorten. Or so that was what was expected.
