Walking down the stairs had proven itself to be even more difficult than up, the simple way up to the bathroom and changing into clothes had already drained the teen of quite a good portion of his stored-up energy. Ranboo leaned heavily on their shoulders, profusely apologising for burdening them that much which was quickly shut down with a fierce glare from Tubbo followed by a "don't be an idiot" and "that's what friends are for".

Downstairs the smell of coffee and fresh toast hung in the air, the large table already set for everyone present to take a seat on. Techno sat to the right, a mug of steaming hot coffee in his hand as he scrolled on his phone, eyes quickly darting over some kind of text message. Wilbur sat next to him, his gaze focused on the teens entering the room. His gaze softened ever so slightly as he took in their appearance, but not enough for the blonde teen to describe it as fondly. It'd be a very awkward conversation, especially since he had just recently revealed his traumatic first death. And now here Tommy was, best friends with the person to have murdered his brother. Yea, it'd be really awkward.

Phil was still shuffling on the kitchen counter, preparing more coffee as the kettle boiled, a few bowls filled with berries and sliced-up apples in front of him. With the bowls in hand, he turned around, smiling at all three of them.

"Take a seat," he said, gesturing to the empty seats as he set down the bowls in the middle of the table, right next to the bowls filled with toast and other bread, "Would you like anything to drink? Tea? Water?"

"Coffee," Tubbo immediately said, lowering Ranboo into the seat the furthest away from Wilbur. It didn't go unnoticed, of course.

"Limit's five cups." The young brunette groaned, sitting down in the chair next to Ranboo, essentially blocking his view and reach on Techno. "And that's already a stretch, you know that's too much caffeine for a day."

"Don't remind me."

"How about you guys?" Phil asked, the mug with coffee being snatched from his hands immediately and they all watched with poorly concealed shock as Tubbo took two large gulps of the very hot coffee, setting down the mug completely unphased as if he hadn't just drunk almost boiling hot liquid.

"I don't need anything, Phil."

"Ranboo?"

"Water's fine," Ranboo said quietly, eyes darting around the kitchen and only returning to the present when Phil put down a glass of water in front of him. The Elytrian then sat down on the last free seat, already reaching for some of the bread, as did everyone else present.

"Introductions first," Phil then said after having swallowed the first bite of his toast, "I'm Phil, the pink-haired guy is Techno." Said man just nodded curtly, expression never changing from a bored one. "The other guy is Wilbur, though you should be familiar with each other."

Ranboo winced but nodded, slightly chewing on his lip. Tubbo had already sent Wilbur a death glare, one that would've easily made everyone glower in fear, which essentially made the brunette stop staring at his friend, only huffing and muttering a quiet "you could say that".

Phil cleared his throat, "We won't be asking you too many questions just yet, just a few things to make sure we're all on the same page, yea?" The teen nodded. "Alright, we gotta ask this first, how did you find out where we live?"

"I technically never found this house," Ranboo said with a nervous laugh, a cough following immediately afterwards, "my goal was to get to either Tommy or Tubbo and it led me here."

"So your ability allows you to travel to people even though you don't know where they are?" Techno asked, one eyebrow arched.

"Usually not, would take too much energy as I'm not familiar with the surroundings, but with XD pumping me up with energy it was easy to get here." A beat of silence, "Well, more or less."
