𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝

the next morning there was a small knock on the bedroom window.

dove shot up and looked around.

there was more tapping on the window and dove looked over, her heart racing.

she wanted to go and check who is was, but it could be dangerous.

rafe could be at the window. or ward. or the police. or mary.

dove slid off of the bed and crawled to the window.

she sat against the wall and opened the curtain, looking up and over at the window. it was sarah.

dove stood up and opened the window for the girl.

"you need to come with me. to make things right." sarah said.

"come with you where?" dove furrowed her eyebrows.

"just come on." sarah nodded.

dove sighed. "fine. just let me leave john b a note."

"okay. i'll be waiting in the back for you."

dove nodded and closed the curtains.

she searched around for a piece of paper and finally found a pack of sticky notes.

she took one and grabbed a pen on the bedside table and began writing.

off to tell the truth and save you with sarah. don't move a muscle until i'm back. i love you.

she then stuck the stickie note to the wall and went down the stairs and to the back.

she left through the sliding glass door and saw sarah standing below the deck.

she trekked down and made her way over to the dirty blonde girl.

"listen, we're going to where the police and the agents all are. don't say anything about where you and john b are hiding out, which i'm sure you already know not to. the only thing is...your mom and my dad are there, but don't worry, that's why i'm there. i'm going to protect you from them." sarah explained.

dove stared at her, dumbfounded.

"dove? where'd you go? talk to me." sarah said.

"i don't know if i can do it. i don't know if i can face my mom. look into her eyes. hear her voice. just...be near her after what she's done." dove replied.

sarah nodded. "i know. and...it's hard to be around my dad after what he did to big john and i hate him, but do you want to make things right?"

"i do. i really do." dove nodded back.

"then come on."

sarah put her hand out. dove grabbed it and they went on their way.

sarah and dove arrived at where the SBI, police, reporters, etc. were. they had a tent set up and there were multiple trucks, cars, along with the sheriff's van.

the two girls' still had their hands intertwined as they walked up to the tent. they were talking about john b.

"excuse me, ladies. only authorized personnel at this point." one of the SBI officers said.
