I jolt awake and turn off the alarm on my phone. What a rude way to wake up. I slowly make my way out of my comfy bed and head to the bathroom. Today is my first day at my new job, so I need to make a good first impression. I rub my eyes and stare at my reflection in the mirror. My long blond hair is messy and my hazel eyes are barley open. My body is in pretty good shape for being so short. I work out a few times a week in order to keep it healthy, but I still don't have a ton of muscle mass. I am around 5 feet tall and weigh around 100 pounds give or take. I get my small stature from my mother and older sister. They both have/had a few inches on me which is not fair. I have learned to deal with it over the years. I grew up in Brunswick, GA which is where I currently live. I went away to school, but decided to come back here to start my career and hopefully an exciting life at some point. I like to think I'm the good girl next door type since I attend church every Sunday and have a good relationship with my Lord and Savior. I enjoy reading, working out, singing, and music in general.
My sister Stephanie lives in Florida with her husband Mitch, their cat and dog. She is 25 and living her best life away from our hometown. Her and I speak occasionally, but we are both busy and not as close as we once were. Our parents passed away when I was in high school, but left us some money to get by on. My sister left as soon as she could. I was able to use scholarship money for College and ended up finishing this past May. I have saved my money as much as could, but I had to use some of it for this apartment/mini townhome and I bought myself a small car. The rest is in savings for when I need something or need help paying bills. I just recently got everything moved in and organized. I had a few friends in college, but we all went separate ways when we graduated. I am hoping I can make some new friends at this new job.

Emma's outfit ^
I take a quick shower and decide to wear a business skirt, blouse, and small heels for my first day. Today should just be learning the job and hopefully meeting new people. The company sells many different IT products. My job will be things like filing, answering phones, data entry, making copies, greeting visitors etc. My boss is the CEO of the company, but he has a personal assistant to handle all of his work. I will be handling the easier office tasks or doing anything that is asked of me.
My interview consisted of my boss Mike and his assistant Julie. It went well and they offered me the job right away. Julie is in her late thirty's and our boss is probably early 50's if I had to guess. They both seem really nice and I am hoping Julie and I can become friends. I check myself in the mirror and make sure all of my essentials are in my purse before I head out to my small red beetle bug car. I check the time and see its only around seven, so I have time to stop for coffee and breakfast. I need to be at work by seven thirty. My day finishes at four.
