THE MOON FAMILY WERE JUST SOME OF THE VICTIMS PLAGUED WITH BAD LUCK. Bad luck didn't discriminate , regardless of gender , sexuality or age – if you were it's victim , you would suffer until it chose when to let you live the rest of your already miserable life.
Bad luck finds fun in your pain and suffering. It's serpent-like hold on you and watching you writhe around is it's form of entertainment. When Moon Jae-yong was born , bad luck latched itself into him. Killing his parents after his younger brother was born , getting sexually assaulted by his teacher , both brothers almost commiting suicide were just the start of the amusement.
Things start to look up when Jae-yong and Jin-woo are finally able to access the parts of their parent's will that they were entitled to after long years of other family members keeping it from the brothers. Together , they use the money to buy a small apartment at Green Home.
BAD LUCK IS A SPECIAL KIND OF SADISTIC.It's obsessive , but repetitive. You can use that to your advantage , if you aren't completely dense.
THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE SAFE AND THAT THE BAD LUCK HAD FINALLY PASSED. Jin-woo's health was getting better and Jae-yong was offered a high paying and local job. It was finally getting better. Slowly , but things were starting to get better.
They were naïve to think that bad luck had left them so easily. Jin-woo was hiding the fact that his nosebleeds had been getting worse , and on the way to Jae-yong's first day of work at his new job and Jin-woo's first day at his new school, they realise that someone had locked all the residents of Green Home into the apartment complex.
