Stanley was as normal, but he did have a little secret hobby. A hobby that no one else would consider having. Well atleast most people.

This hobby..this extraordinary hobby! Was not a normal hobby.

Besides that Stanley was pretty normal. He went to school, had favorite things, and couldn't handle when someone yelled at him.

Wait..? That's considered not normal? Very well.

There was a few things off about Stanley. When people yelled at him, he would cry. When asked his favorite color it would change everytime.

Although, there was a few colors Stanley always liked, it was shades of reds and browns.

Meanwhile, the Narrator was the most unnormal person a lot of people have met. Whether it's because of his snake-like green eyes or the way he dressed.

Maybe it was also because he was a well-known detective who solved the hardest of crimes. Or was it because of his name?

Stanley wasn't a detective, quite the opposite actually.

The Narrator knew Stanley, a little bit too well at this point.

"Be more careful next time, I'm tired of planting false evidence for you." The Narrator complained, playing with his badge.

[Shush, you don't have to] Stanley struggled as he signed since he was trying to be out of the cops sight.

"Do you really want to go to jail?"

[Yeah]

"Lord...you know they're going to pull some shit on you?"

[I've eaten 18 people dude, they ain't gonna pull nothing]

"When you're in jail, you can't eat anyone or they give you the electric chair"

[Cool]

"It's not cool! Everyone knows you as the hot girl killer"

[Why the fuck are those pink drink straights considered hot?]

"...You're asking a gay man"

[Me, personally, I'm gay]

"You don't have to tell me what I already know" The Narrator said as he showed off his ring.

This ring was beyond special, because Stanley gave it to the Narrator the night he proposed. Stanley had set up a whole scavenger hunt for the Narrator.

[...I want food]

"Shush! Let me remember all the hints from the night you proposed"

[You hopeless romantic]

"Oh shh, you know how much you like me"

[Yeah, well I wasn't planning on falling in love]

"We both know you just wanted help getting away from the cops"

[Yeah, but not anymore]

The Narrator looked down at Stanley.
"Are we going to ignore how you're hiding from the cops right now?"

[Listen, love has changed me...for the most part]

"What do you want to eat though?"

[Burger?]

"Of course my dear!"

Stanley smiled he liked when the Narrator would say that exact line, because then he would eat food.

The Narrator was about to order food until- RING RING RING

"Hello?" The Narrator asked as he picked the phone up.

"Salutations! This is Curator, and I am here to ask who's the lead for this case"

"We don't have a lead yet, but it seems like a highschooler getting revenge"

"Alright well, keep looking"

"Will do, Ma'am." The Narrator said before hanging up the phone.

[Can we blame the person who bullied me in highschool?]

"Of course!" The Narrator said as he texted his order to a food service.

Stanley smiled as he took the Narrator's hand, this was his favorite part of the day.

"Sweetheart, here" The Narrator said as he put Stanley's mask on for Stanley.

[Thanks!] Stanley signed before dragging the Narrator to the back of the building.

"Ready?"

Stanley nodded before he started running away, secretly heading to where him and the Narrator lived.

The Narrator smiled before running after Stanley, making sure to look super cool while doing so.

Stanley looked behind him and saw the Narrator, he smiled to himself before jumping into a lake and swimming across it.

The Narrator jumped in right after, starting to catch up to Stanley.

Stanley swam faster as he saw the Narrator close to him, he quickly got out the water and was back to running on land.

The Narrator followed Stanley, both still running. The Narrator could feel his wet clothes stick closely to his skin, it felt uncomfortable.

Stanley saw a police station and knew what the Narrator had to do next, since it was his job.

The Narrator saw the police station and yelled something about helping him chase this "dangerous criminal" aka Stanley.

The police officers noticed this and joined the Narrator on the chase.

Stanley felt a wave of energy come over him, he loved whenever the police chased him! It was like a real life version of Just Cause 4!

Stanley knew it was time to hide from the cops, so he ran until he was out of sight then he went into an alley. He opened a door which led to a secret passageway.

"Hey, hey!" Jim said as he smoked a cigarette.

[Hey, dude! Is the food here yet?]

"TimeKeeper isn't here"

[Awh what!]

"It said something about birds in the road"

[Birds? Silly...silly birds]

"Oh yeah! It was those silly birds"

[Anyways don't go to the surface, I'm running from the cops]

"Well, wish ya luck"

Stanley nodded as he ran out the other door and saw the police right behind him again, as if they were waiting for him.

The police officers exchanged a few words with eachother, something about being tired.

"I'll catch you one day!" The Narrator shouted at Stanley, pretending it was just another case.

Stanley smiled as he ran off into the distance.

Secretly, Stanley and the Narrator were very happy with this life that they had.
