❛Seems like you got some pretty cool offers, kid. Me included, obviously.❜

Perched high atop a billboard, the stoic teenager gazes out at the sprawling city below. The wind whips at her hair, but she remains transfixed by the stunning sunset, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange.

It was peaceful in her imagination. In reality, she had the chatterbox of Keigo Takami next to her, licking off teriyaki sauce from his fingertips. A shit-eating, confident grin sprawled against his face before he laughed at her very obvious, annoyed eyes, which narrowed at him as she side-eyed.

Glancing back down to the flapping 12-page packet in her clutch, she sighed. "I have a lot of offers, and yeah, you included." She spoke monotonously. "But I don't want to go with you. Didn't you send an offer to Tokoyami? Stay with that bird human thing." With a straight, blank face, she turned his way.

"Ouch. I take offense to that! I'm a bird too, you know!" He cries aloud, complaining and whining.

"But I know you came to me for a recommendation, truly for me to feed that talking, annoying reaper inside of you and you just happened to mention the internship offers, but-- I say to look at the big picture! Who do you think you'll learn the most from?"

"Endeavor drives me crazy. Mirko is pretty cool, with great combat, and she can help me improve a lot of skills. You can teach me to fly around more efficiently and maybe even dodge objects while levitating, but Mirko is also in the air a lot because of her hopping." She elaborates, her stoic and disinterested expression matching her voice, only for it to reach numb ears. He was obviously half-listening while he dug his teeth into the teriyaki chicken.

"Mirkos pretty badass. We can always train another time together. I say Mirko." He finally spoke, smacking his lips together.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right, birdbrain." She replied in agreeance, the page crinkled slightly from the picking up wind. Silence enlaced them, comfortable, at that. They were left to Hawk's chewing and [Name's] crinckling packet.

"Oh, I forgot to mention, but it's pretty serious." He suddenly brings up, she turns to face his way, his eyebrows slightly furrowed and a gleaming hint of sadness in his eyes. It was odd to see the cheerful, sarcastic male in such a state. He peered down at the multiple building below, hesitating.

He exhaled, a small, deep chuckle sounding from his lips. Picking his head up from the scenery,  she stared at him stoicly. "Never mind, I suppose you haven't gotten the offer yet. And I don't know for certain if they will, so forget about it."

She nodded slowly, staring at him, who was displaying a facade of happiness. It was silent, the monotone teenager, and what one could consider a pro-hero friend. Though she hasn't come to terms with friendships yet. Suddenly, a scratchy and deep voice calls out and entirely jump-scared Hawks.

"Odd." Death's deep voice calls out, "Teriyaki chicken, now." He demands, his caving mouth opening wider and efficiently stretching and ripping her skin more.
