When Hosea and myself returned to camp, we saw everyone packing up. I gave Hosea a confused glance before tethering Whiskey and walking over to Dutch.

"What's going on?"

"Stirred up quite the trouble in. Valentine. Killed a bunch of Cornwalls men, so now we need a new place to go."

I looked around. "Where's Arthur?"

"Him and Charles are searching for a new place," Dutch stood, "Rose, I know this sounds bad, but I think you should leave."

"What?"

"Listen, we are a band of criminals with prices on our heads. I don't want you getting tangled into this."

"Dutch," I began, "I'm on the run for killing my fathers murderer. Not from law, but from a gang. And I feel safe here. Do you really think I would ditch?"

"Rose-"

"I ain't goin nowhere. You gave me a home. A place that I feel safe in. Ain't nothing changing because now you have another gun who can do a damn well good job than any other man here." I said sternly.

He smiled. "That's me told then." He mumbled. "Okay," he looked over to Hosea and back to me, "Miss Rose, would you help pack Arthur's things? Most of it is in the wagon, just need to tidy some things up and hook up the horses."

"Course," I walked over to Arthur's wagon, folding his cot and stuffing it in the wagon. I picked up a picture frame and noticed a woman. She looked to be about my age, with her hair in a low bun and wearing a fancy dress. I stared at it for a moment before shaking my head and placing it neatly with all the other pictures. As I was tethering a couple shire horses, Charles rode into camp and began to lead everyone. I drove the wagon by myself, following closely behind the caravan that Dutch rode with Mr. Pearson. After traveling for a couple of hours, we came to a camp not far from Rhodes.

A couple of weeks later, everything was settled in. The camp seemed more lively and relaxed. Arthur and I took a ride outside camp, spending some time together.

"So, how you feelin bout this area?" He asked as I trotted next to him.

I shrugged. "Little nervous, but I think I'll be okay."

He let out a breath and looked up. "Suns starting to set."

I hummed in response.

"Why don't we head into Rhodes? Rent a room for the night instead of sleepin on the ground?"

I smiled and looked over to him. "That would be nice."

We rode to Rhodes quick, anxious to get a nice warm bed. After we tethered our horses outside the saloon, we walked inside and over to the bar. Arthur rented a room for the night and we headed to the room. After Arthur unlocked it and went in, I followed and he shut the door behind me, locking it. He set the keys down on the nightstand and sat down on the bed.

"This room is nice," he said softly.

"I've seen better," I sat down next to him.

"Have you, now?"

I nodded. "Saint Denis, Blackwater, even the Valentine hotel was nicer."

He chuckled. "Fair enough."

I smiled before climbing up on his lap. He raised his eyebrow before pulling me into a deep kiss. I kissed him back, my fingers running through his hair. He pulled me close, causing me to moan into his mouth. I felt him smile, flipping me over onto my back. He rocked his hips against mine, causing more moans to leave my throat as he kissed my neck, moving downwards as he undid the buttons of my blouse. He nipped at my breast, causing me to moan as I grabbed his shoulder blade. He continued downwards until he reached my navel. He slowly undid the snap on my jeans, pulling them down in a quick motion.
