Chapter 21: Antagonist

Lady Christine P.O.V

"I heard that the Crown Prince is your fiance!"

"Is that true Lady Christine?" kinikilig na tanong sa akin ng mga katulong ko noong ikalabing apat na taon kong kaarawan.

"Hindi ba halata? Kaya nga nandito siya sa palasyo. They are going to announce it , right?"

Isang pagtango lamang ang aking ginawa. Everyone is happy that I am marrying the Crown Prince but I am not because I am not really in love with him.

I have someone I like.

I never really wanted to become the crown princess because I don't like him, the crown prince.

Wala naman mali sa kanya. He have the looks, wealth and good family background. It just that my heart does not beat for him. It beat for someone else. . . ,

"Oh his highness is playing with his brother," turo ni Michelle sa dalawang magkapatid na nag-eesapadahan. They are using wood sword.

My eyes landed towards them. The Crown Prince is laughing while exchanging swords with his little brother whom the same age as me. The Crown Prince love his brother very much. Well, you can say that they are very close.

"Sister-in-law!" Zander wave his hand when he saw me.

I was about to smile at him when the Crown Prince glance at me shortly. I heard the ladies besides me giggle and tease me.

"Napakaswerte mo talaga!"

"Oo nga. Napakagwapo ng mapangangasawa mo!"

"Susunod pang hari!" kilig nilang usapan na walang epekto sa akin.

"Sino kaya magiging kabiyak naman ng nakababatang kapatid ng Crown Prince?" someone asked which made me look at them.

Dahil doon ay napatingin sila sa direksyon ko.  I can't help but clench my hand under the table. And give them a smile.

"Kilala mo ba kung sino magiging kabiyak ng Prinsipe? I heard that it from a Ducal family!"

Ducal family huh?

Maaaring mula sa Sebastian Household nagmula ang babae na kaniyang mapapangasawa. Pero sa pagkakaalam ko masyadong bata ito. I am sure that the Sebastian wouldn't agree.

Pero maaari lalo na't malapit ang Prinsipe sa sa tagapagmana ng Sebastian Household. Kungdi ako nagkakamali Alexander Havier Sebastian ang kanyang buong pangalan.

I once met that child from Sebastian family and he give me chill. Lalo na ang kanyang pulang mga mata na minana rin ng kanyang nakababatang kapatid na babae. They both have grey hair and red eyes that shone like a jewel. Some people describe their eyes bloody eyes... However Prince Zander like him very much despite of that.

In fact he always cling to that child. Well, it's very expected from him, he is kind to all even to me that come from Baron family. He always talk to me about his brother. That's why I am close to him than his brother the Crown Prince.

The Crown Prince always ignore my presence even though he know that I am betrothed to him by the King and Queen. Due to him, many noble family ignore my presence too even I am the Crown Princess of Atalier Kingdom. I hold no power inside Atalier Palace even I am the Crown Princess.

Noong nalaman ko na magiging Crown Princess ako laking tuwa ko at nang aking pamilya dahil sa wakas makakaalis na kami sa malamig na countryside na tinitirahan namin. I come from Baron family who live in the countryside, specially in the territory of Balistine Dukedom. It is a Barren land and I hated it even it's a powerful Duke when it comes to military.
