Chapter 22

Chapter 22 Traitor

Astrid P.O.V

Nagising na lamang ako dahil sa malakas na sampal sa akin mukha. Sa sobrang lakas ng sampal ay nagising atah buong diwa ko.

Napangiwi na lamang ako maramdaman ko ang kaunting kirot sa labi ko. Nalasahan ko rin ang dugo ko. It taste like iron. I was about to touch my lips when I realized that I am tied in the wall.

My both hand are raised above my head and my both hand tie on the wall. Mukhang nanigurado talaga tumali sa akin dahil gawa sa bakal ang tali. Even my feet os tied.

"Mabuti na lamang at nagising kana, Lady Astrid Cosmic," I heard a very familiar sweet voice.

Inangat ko mukha ko. Medyo blurred pa noong una dahil sa hindi pa nakapag adjust mata ko sa paligid. I roam around my gaze. I am surrounded by walls. I guess this is there underground prison. Ang tanging nagbibigay lamang ng ilaw ay ang lamparang nakasabit sa labas ng bilanggoan kungsaan may nakabantay na mga gwardiya.

This place is well guarded. Mahihirapan nila akong hanapin.

"Listen to me, bitch!" naiinis na wika ni Christine sa akin at malakas na hinila ang  aking buhok na kinangiwi ko sa sakit.

Sa sobrang lakas ng paghila niya ay natanggal ang wig na suot suot ko. Bumungad ang pula kong buhok sa kanya. Nang bumungad sa kanya ang maikli kong pulang buhok ay hindi lamang sya nagulat. Mukhang inaasahan na niya ang kaniyang makikita.

Imbes na pagkagulat ay pagkainis ang mababakas sa kanyang mukhang. She seem loathed my red hair to the core.

"Minana mo rin pala buhok ng iyong baldadong ama," she said with hatred as she grab my hair again.

Gusto ko mapamura na lamang sa sakit para bang matatanggal anit ko sa lakas ng paghila niya. I though she's a fragile lady! Bakit lakas nya manghila ng buhok.

My forehead creased with she said.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin? Kilala mo ang aking ama?" I asked immediately when I realized about what she said.

Did she touch my family? I though Zander protect my family. I can't help but tremble in fear thinking about my family right now.

"Of course! I know your father. He is the mighty knight of the Atalier. He was a commander during his time... Dalace Cosmic a man that is blessed by God's when it comes to combat and creating strategy in battlefield. He was a hero back then...but when the former Crown Prince die, he lost his fame, wealth and dignity as hero. Not only that he lost his cabability to fight and was exile...I pity him," mapaglaro niyang na sinamahan pa halakhak.

Naalala ko bigla ang larawan na pinakita sa akin ng Reyna nang dalhin ako ni Zander sa palasyo.

Nanlaki mata ko dahil sa kanyang mga tinuran. Lahat ng kanyang sinabi ay totoo. My father is hero back then but now he is just a forgotten hero for not being able to protect his master . . . But I never know that his master is the former Crown Prince_Zander brother.

Kung ganun hindi biglaan lamang ang aming pag alis sa kapital ng Atalier. Our family got exile. I though my father wants to live outside the capital and live peacefully in a countryside. I never expect that he was exile. 

Tingnan mo nga naman talaga pagkakataon. It took 16 years before I discover everything. I was eight years old when my father decide to leave the Centre or Capital because of the punishment.

"Aren't you curious how come that your healthy and mighty father suddenly become disable and useless person?" bulong niya sa akin na kinalaki ng mata ko.

Hinila niya buhok ko palapit sa mukha niya hanggang sa tumapat ang kanyang labi sa aking tainga.

"I poison him, darling," she whisper with sweet sinister voice that send chill in every part of my body.

Tila nagwala buong katawan ko at gusto siyang atakehin. Nagpumilit akong kumawala at gusto ko siya sakalin ngunit wala akong magawa dahil nakatali lamang ako.

She distance herself from me and wear her innocent smile that I once adore.

"Walanghiya ka! Anong ginawa ng ama ko para lasunin siya!?" I shouted as I try my best to get free from the chain that bind me on the wall.

My father is a good man. He is just good knight who wants to protect his country and it's citizen.

She look at me in the eyes,"He was a nuisance just like you and. . ."

She was cut off by a huge man. May binulong ito sa kanya. Then, she smile brightly. Mukhang may magandang balita syang narinig.

"I was about to turtore and kill you now just like other Ladies I killed. You're lucky for now. Zander arrive. I need to met him," masaya niyang sabi at hinubad ang kulay puti nyang gloves na bahid ng dugo ko.

She held my jaw and I glare at her," Don't worry. I'll come back after my conversation with Zander. I'll tell him that you just disappear out of nowhere. I am sure he would believe me since I am his sweet sister in law back then. But that won't last long since I'll be his fiancee soon." Aniya bago nya madiin na binitawan baba ko.

"And aren't you curious why his highness always missing with my father?" She trailed, "it because they go at the Capital in order to infrom the king about dissolving your engagement and making me his fiancee," She said before she leave me alone.

Pagkaalis ni Christine ay saka ko naramdaman ang sakit ng katawan ko. I am full of bruised especially my face. Mukhang sinampal ako ng ilan beses ni Christine hanggang magising ko.

Baka nga puno ng sugat ang mukha ko ngayon. Even my whole body is aching right now. Isali mo pa anit ko na hinilahila ni Christine kanina. That bitch is really strong. I couldn't wait to get free from here.

Pero mukhang malabo akong makawala lalo na't mukhang naglakwatsa Prinsipe na yun. Baka wala siyang kamalay-malay na nawawala ako. Pero sana naman gumana utak niya at maghinala ng kahit kaunti lamang sa pagkawala ko ng bigla sa pamamahay ng former sis-in-law niya.

I was about to close my eyes since I am exhausted from the beating when I heard a loud thud. I lift up my gaze.

Bumukas ang gawa sa bakal na rehas. May pumasok na matangkad na lalaki. Hindi ko maaninag masyado ang kanyang mukha dahil madilim. All I can see is his silhouette.

Then he start to walk towards me, slowly revealing his whole appearance.

I can't help but gasped when I saw his whole appearance. My eyes widen due to astonishment. I never anticipated to see him here. How come he know this place?

Maliban na lamang kung kakampi siya ni Christine. So, all this time, he is a spy. Now, I realize that he is the one whose giving information to Christine about what happening in the palace. Kaya siguro maraming nalalaman si Christine kahit malayo ang kanyang kinalalagyan dahil sa kanya.

And the reason why we can't trace her evil deed is because of him. I can't help but clench my fist. Baka alam niya rin na nagpapanggap lamang akong babae. So, all this time he is fooling me and my twin brother.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito, Arson?" I asked as he get near at me.
