The next morning...
Lena's POV:
The sun started to peek through the curtains when I opened my eyes. Birds were chirping outside as I looked up to the ceiling of my room.
Wait, my room?
I know damn well my room doesn't have white walls, mine has dark blue walls. But if this is not my room, then where am I?
I was about to get up when I noticed something was holding me tight, or better said someone was holding me tight. Jude was lying next to me with his head in the crook of my neck, his one arm lying above my head and the other one was holding my waist as if his life depended from it.
How did I end up here? The last thing I remember is going to sleep in my room here in Jude's house after we had a really nice evening.
But then all of a sudden I remembered why I was here, in Jude's bed. The damned nightmare. I don't know why I got that nightmare all of a sudden, but it looked so real that for a minute I thought it was the actual reality.
Thinking of what I saw in my nightmare made me feel a bit scared again so I turned around and snuggled even closer to Jude, who now wrapped both his arms around me and put his head on top of mine. Laying so close to him made me feel as if I was in the safest place on earth. Heck, I know that I'm in the safest place on earth. Jude wouldn't let anyone near me who could hurt me he had said at least 15 times the past days.
"Hey butterfly, how are you feeling?" Jude all of a sudden asked. "I'm okay, I guess" I answered. He didn't respond, he just placed a soft kiss on my forehead. His hand was drawing circles on my back, probably his way to keep me calm.
"You don't have to talk about your nightmare if you don't want to. I mean, I can tell what it was about. I just want you to know that you don't have to worry about your safety, beautiful. I'm here to protect you from any harm" he said. I nodded and placed my head back near his chest, so I could listen to his heartbeat. We laid together for a few minutes in a peaceful silence.
"I was thinking, maybe we could go out to eat tonight? I would love to take you to my favorite restaurant here in Dortmund. What do you say?" Jude spoke up after a few minutes.
"I'd love that" I responded while smiling. "Good, that's a deal then. I actually already booked us a table tonight at 7." he grinned. I chuckled back at him while shaking my head.
A few hours later I was getting ready for our date. Or, was it even a date? He never mentioned it being a date, but I just assumed it was.
I had picked out a beautiful emerald green dress that was just perfect for the occasion. It was a dress that Jude had picked out for me when we went shopping together in Dortmund.
I put a nice make up look on and curled my hair. I took my bag and a pair of flat sandals from Hermès that Jude insisted on buying for me after he saw me looking at them on Pinterest. I begged him not to because they were way too expensive for a pair of sandals, but he went out "to training" and that evening he returned with the sandals. Unbelievable, I know.
I went downstairs where Jude was already waiting for me. I walked into the kitchen and saw him standing there with his back turned to me
"Jude?" I said, and he immediately turned around. When he saw me, his eyes went wide and he looked as if he had seen a ghost.
He continued to stare at me and I started to think something was wrong. "He doesn't like it" I immediately thought. He seemed to notice the discomfort on my face so he spoke up.
"Butterfly, you look amazing! Wow! Is that the dress I picked out for you?" he asked while approaching me. "Yes it is!" I said en his smile grow even bigger. "That color suits you so well. You look gorgeous butterfly." he said while putting his hands on my hips.
"Come on, do a twirl for me" he said while grabbing my hand and leading my twirl. "Gorgeous, like I said." he smirked and I was about as red as the outfit of an average Bayern fan.
"Ready to go, butterfly?" he asked. "Yes!" I responded, before we got to his car and drove to the restaurant.
