Takes place in the bustling, ever growing city of Seoul, South Korea. Ever since kindergarten, Y/N has been in love with Kim Seokjin. Not only does he have great looks, but he has a great personality and sense of style as well. His looks are why he...
So... Jin... really is at my house right now... this is real... I-I'm not hallucinating!? I lock myself in my room. I stare at all the drawings and photos I have of Jin that are plastered all over the walls. I need to make sure Jin does NOT see my room. In an attempt out of fear I aggressively try to take all my admiration arts of Jin down until I hear a loud exclamation from my mom.
"Y/N! Hurry to the dinner table, foods ready and everyone's already here!"
I take a deep breath. I NEED to be on my best behavior and not slack off in front of my crush of a decade. The only issue here is going to be the rest of my family, ESPECIALLY my siblings.
My mom set up the dinner table really nicely.

Jin looked quite impressed himself but as far as I knew his family was very wealthy, so I wonder why this all seemed so new and interesting to him. I shrug it off and take my seat. My family purposely left two seats empty at the middle of the table for me and Jin to sit next to each other at.
I awkwardly greet everyone at the table and take my seat. My little sister is on my moms phone when she snatches it away quickly from her.
My mom hands me over some Bibimbap and it tastes amazing as per usual. My mom had always been the best chef in the household. After just a few minutes of eating with no speaking from anyone at all whatsoever, the silence was broken by my mom.
"Jin! Tell us more about yourself! We love to know more about our new guests!" She smiles that smile she makes when she's curious.
Jin swallows down his Tteokbokki and begins to answer my moms question.
"Well..."
"Mom", I say. "Let's not ask such personal questions. You invited Jin here on a very... very sudden and uncalled for short notice."
Jin looks at me with a neutral expression. "Don't worry", he says with a smile.
He turns to face my mom again.
"Oh no! Don't worry! It's all good. I... I like to play sports and to draw. When I'm really bored I usually just help in local community events or volunteer at shel-"
"Oh what a responsible and hardworking fine man you are! Ji-seok, you should be just like him!"
My brothers expression drops and he starts to appear annoyed.
It's awkward and silent for a few seconds before my mom continues.
"You know my daughter is actually ALWAYS talking about you but now I see a valid reason why-"
I quickly plop a piece of sushi into my moms mouth before she reveals too much.
"Sorry..", I look at Jin. "She overexaggerates things a lot."
My mom swallows the sushi and begins to talk again. "I'm pretty sure you are Y/N's type as far as I know. You're very tall, muscular, have great hair and charisma, and you smell just great! What fragrance do you use?"
I feel myself get flustered. My mom was not wrong, Jin was my type. And she definitely made no flaws describing him.
I notice Jin getting slightly pink, but that washes away as soon as my mom mentions fragrances. He probably just got a bit embarassed at being called out like that in such a positive light. Ugh, my mom just LOVES putting people on the spot.
"Oh? You're into fragrances too?", Jin replies.
"Yes!"
You probably guessed what went on from there. My mom and Jin continued talking about their favorite fragrances for the rest of the dinner. I was so close to banging the table out of boredom.
Jin was putting on his coat and he approached me after saying bye to my mom.
"Thank you for inviting me to your house for this great dinner! Remember, I'll always be free to help you with volleyball, Y/N," he smiles.
Ugh, he's just too cute.
"Uh, oh, yeah! No problem! Have a good night!"
I go into my room and hear my brothers loud footsteps and as soon as I know it he's barged inside.
"Why are you-", my sentence gets cuts short.
"Listen, I was HUMILIATED at the dinner table today. Be glad I didn't share your little secret crush on Jin today. But don't worry, we'll be even soon." He smirks and begins to stomp away.
"Dude, what mom said wasn't even that deep."
He stops and turns around. "Oh, so me telling Jin about your little crush isn't so deep either, right?"
My heart drops.
"You wouldn't ac-"
"Just you watch." He closes my rooms door behind him.
