It's a breezy, sunny day.... I feel my hair swaying in the wind and landing on my face to no surprise, as my seat is right beside one of the classroom windows. I should be focusing on the lesson since exams are coming up, but I can't. Not when Seokjin is sitting right in front of me. I'd been yearning to have a conversation with him for so long.... but.... whenever I try to, the opportunity becomes automatically wasted... and it's only felt like he's becoming even more busier after becoming a trainee.
The bell rings and I get up to walk to the courtyard. I see my friends, Kim Jisoo (my female best friend) and Kim Taehyung (my male best friend). Jisoo waves me to happily as I take my bag off my shoulder and sit on a bench in between both of them.
"We haven't gotten nice, breezy weather in so long. It's been so hot lately....", Jisoo says.
"True", I reply back.
Taehyung was usually quiet. A lot of the girls in the school liked that about him, which makes him quite the chic magnet himself. But... he hates all the attention. Despite being quiet and distant, he chose me and Jisoo to be his closest friends, despite us being girls. It's strange, but I do enjoy how we're his comfort people. We do make a pretty good friend group.
Taehyung looked a bit down today. He'd been growing out his hair for quite some time now and it's gotten so long to the point where you can't even see his eyes.
"Taehyungggg.... let me see your face", I say.
I lift Taehyung's hair up and see that he looks a little bit upset and that his face is kind of red, like... he was blushing.
"Taehyung... everything alright?"
Taehyung looks down and nods. "I'm okay."
Me and Jisoo look at each other and shrug. Taehyung is quiet in general but not as quiet as he's been today. He wasn't even drawing anything which is what he usually likes to do.
Lunchtime is over.
As I walk with Taehyung and Jisoo back to the school I keep talking over and over about Seokjin. Taehyung seems tired of it but Jisoo has always been happy to help.
Jisoo has had my back since the first grade after all, she's known about my crush on Jin for years at this point.
I met Taehyung much later on since he was a transfer student last year.
When I say bye to my friends I walk in the hallways towards my biology classroom and notice Jin with his friend group talking and laughing outside the classroom.
Gosh.... should I take my chances and try to make another attempt to talk to Jin?
