L and Light had casually grown some flirty comments at each other but the Kira case was still open and they were working harder than ever Light to cover up his killings and L to figure out behind it all but the handcuffs still weren't off and the topic came by that night Light didn't wanna use his advantage but he had no choice that afternoon as everyone had dinner misa insisted to sit by light "I'm so glad we get to have dinners like this you guys Ryuzaki you always pick the best desserts!" She smiled and hugged lights arm as while he slide his plate to Ryuzaki for him to eat he took it and shrugged "Who else do you know has a sweet tooth like me?" "your right" she smiled and looked over at her boyfriend "Light id love to watch a movie tonight" "oh misa I'm not sure you know we worked a lot today-" he rubbed his neck "and Ryuzaki is really tiered" "Not really light you've been helping me sleep a lot more watatri thanks you actually" L looked at him and then back down to eat "well alright then" light gave in with a small sigh "thank you light!" Misa smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek while he reciprocated she melted of joy "Make sure those two are careful Ryuzaki" joked matsuda light throwing him a small look L shrugged "I highly doubt they'd have the bravery to try anything like that infront of an audience" "we don't- well I can't speak on misa's behalf." "Light that's not funny" she giggled even thought that wasn't a joke he knew she was wreckless and misa almost always ruined his peace when she was around but he had to be extra careful in the chains
{after dinner light misa and Ryuzaki went to watch the movie all landing on a horror due to her request they were all watching light and misa cuddled close L at the edge of the couch}
Light Pov}
"Light don't be afraid" misa whispered in a teasing matter while I turned to her "It's not that scary im not-" I drone feeling a shock wave go through me as I let out a small scream getting the memories of the notebook back I looked down to see she had touched me with a small piece THIS IDIOT was all that went through my mind while she laughed at me "I told you not to get scared look at this Ryuzaki" she shook her head and rested her head while I turned to see you seeing your stupid grin made me nudge on the chains "Shut it ryu." "I didn't say anything Light" he hummed and I turned back to the screen seeing Ryuk act like a fool "light I started to kiss you" he joked and pointed to the restroom I sighed knowing he wanted to say something "Misa hold on a bit" I moved her as she nodded "we're you going light" "to the restroom." I nudged Ryuzaki as he got up when he was heading in with me misa got defensive "hey what you do two do this all the time?" "Well yes misa-" "Well I don't want you too how about you wait outside light can reach the bathroom!" She held L from stepping in which was probably the only competent thing I saw her do today keeping him from me "Stop being jealous Misa." I got in and closed the door the chains sliding under the door Ryuk looked at me "You got any apples light?" "No Ryuk get to it" I whispered as he groaned and twisted around "I've been seeing you even if you can't see me I don't understand you humans- not to mention you and big detective honestly what are you thinking! He wants to put a stop to you" he laughed as I sighed "Maybe he should they are really close if I keep at this pase and let the names I wrote down die out maybe he'll stop the investigation and think Kira is no more-" "your kidding right? I sighed and shook my head flushing the toilet and letting the water run to make L believe I was done ryuk shook his head "Hey no we aren't done here stop that don't you dare step out that door I'll still be able to bother you!" He said even though I rebelled and stepped out "We can continue the movie you two" "Oh-" misa and him both laughed as I turned to the tv which was still running I shook my head "Let's finish it then come on Misa." "Yes light~" she smiled and stuck his tongue at Ryuzaki going to cuddle him again Ryuk annoyed with light changing his mind he moved through the walls and went away
