"I had to make sure someone else witnessed it so I can be sure, that she's alive," I said. "Who's alive?" Rosa asked. "Angela's alive," I replied. We went into Angela's room. I used chalk to draw where we were sitting, but I wiped it off to make sure I wasn't cheating. Then I put Angela down again and drew a chalk outline around her. "I know you must think I'm crazy, I would think the same thing," I said to Rosa, who was standing near the door. "I don't think you're crazy, I think you lost it..." she said.

Rosa and I left her room and shut the door. "What's the deal?" Rosa asked. "Why do we have to leave her room?"
I told her, "Weird stuff keeps happening like my shoes and jewelry keep going missing. Just odd little things. Then I remembered what my aunt said – she's shy and doesn't want people to see her. So if we give Angela some space, she'll give us a sign."
We were hanging out in another room and waited for a bit. Then we went to check on Angela to see if she moved. "Alright, Angela! We're coming in!" I said. I opened the door, but nothing happened. "Hey, it's all good. I think you need to lie down for a bit." Rosa said. I went up to Angela and said: "Hey, please Angela, I need her to see, okay? I know it's tough for you, but do it for me! I really need this, alright?" "Lily, come on..." Rosa said. I managed to convince Rosa to let me try again, but if it doesn't work, then I must be crazy.

We went out of Angela's room and went to another room, this time we didn't say a word. While we waited, we heard footsteps and Angela giggling 🤭. We went inside her room again and this time, she was gone! She moved from her chalk outline. "I can't believe it..." Rosa said amazed. "Where did she go!?" I replied with, "I don't know! She does it differently every time!" She was just gone! Rosa was convinced that she's alive. I looked behind the door, and Angela was standing there on her own two feet. She's never been there before.

Hours later, we went outside. We were walking around the courtyard, and talking about Angela. "That was incredible, but what are we dealing with exactly? A ghost, trapped spirit?" Rosa asked. "Maybe a girl, Angela's a living girl," I said. "She sure is" Rosa replied. "She's lucky you came along, any doll would be lucky to have you as its caretaker." I showed a weak smile because I haven't been a good caretaker to Angela, since I've neglected her over the years. "I don't think anyone will be lucky to have me as their caretaker..." I said with a frown. "I was too busy with my school life that I just forgot about her, years of neglect makes me think I can't take care of myself let alone a doll..."

Rosa got it, and she kindly reassured me that I was a good caretaker – even they have their limits sometimes. Perhaps I did reach my limit when I began high school and got too busy with everything.

When it was nighttime, Rosa wanted to stay over so I let her stay. We watched a movie together (along with Angela) it was all good. We were watching a horror movie and I got scared! I decided to hold Rosa's hand she started blushing. "Scared huh?" Rosa said. "Yes," I whimpered. Rosa hugged me and it made me feel better. The other intimate moment we had was when we were younger, and she carried when we were at the beach. I still remember that moment every time, it was cute and I guess I started to fall for Rosa.
"Maybe you should bring Angela to school tomorrow, she'll like it there!" Rosa said. I thought about what Rosa said and maybe I should! But will it end well?
