The weather was slowly getting colder out on the sea as the Going Merry sailed across the water. It was a drastic change absolutely when adjusting to the weather here in the Grand Line once the small crew arrived compared to back home in the East Blue. Especially when sailing in normal weather that changes in mere minutes depending on which island is near since the seasons changed in the locations. First the breeze was an indicator as it began to cool down, such a small change went unnoticed by you at first since you were on watch with Nami inside as your "guests" sat in the kitchen. Wrapped up in blankets complaining they were cold every so often.

You were bored, no that was an understatement as you sat inside with them, slowly turning your gaze to the snow that fell in huge chunks soon after as their complaints were tuned out. Knowing Nami was just as annoyed but decided to let them know verbally as you sat at the small table by the door. It wasn't long until it started to stick on the floor of the boat, gathering in clumps as the wind picked up outside. Your face rested against the palm of your hand as you watched it flutter down from the sky. It was memorizing to watch, knowing the seasons were changing in just a few hours. The fact that the sun had disappeared behind the gray sky filled with clouds in minutes. As time slowly crept by the sound of laughter that came from outdoors caught your attention quickly. Finding your captain and sharp shooter out on the deck of the ship with nothing but their original clothes on. Shaking your head at the fact they weren't prepared for the cold weather as they started to build up snow.

A soft smile crept upon your face as you watched them from where you sat, your eyes following their every move as they were sculpting the snow underneath them in order to build on to something more. Acting fascinated with the snow that continued to fall at a fast rate, it was true their attention could be side tracked to practically anything and this was a prime example. Yet the more you watch them build and build the more intrigued you become. Childish it was, but you wanted to head out there and join them in the cold in order to play as well. It was way better than staying here in the first place that was for sure. With that in mind you pushed your chair back as it squeaked against the flooring of the boat. Smiling to yourself as you made your way to the door.

"You're really heading out there in the cold?" Nami asked suddenly, knowing it was freezing cold out there just from Sanji leaving recently through the door to go and shovel outside like Nami told him to. With a glance over your shoulder you grinned at her widely with excitement.

"Of course, you can't pass up playing in the snow when it just showed up!" You replied as you grabbed a hold of the door knob, pulling it open to have a gust of wind blow your hair back. Causing the others to freeze as you escaped out on to the deck where the captain and the sharp shooter stood. Arguing over destroying each other's snow men that were previously made only mere minutes ago.

"How could you destroy my greatest work Luffy, she was gorgeous and didn't deserve the death you gave her!" Usopp shouted at the captain, motioning toward his ice sculpture of the woman he mentioned quite often back on the island he came from. Your eyes went from the sharp shooter to the captain in a matter of seconds as the argument continued.

"How could I destroy your snowman, look what you did to mine!" The captain pouted, making you smile softly to yourself as you watched him act toward his friend down below upon the deck. A soft sigh escaped your lips as you stared off into space for a second, knowing you shouldn't call this peaceful but in a weird way it was. There was just something about this time right now where you felt nothing could truly go wrong as the snow fell. Your eyes slowly moved as you watched the ship's cook carefully shovel snow on the front bow of the ship. Shaking your head slightly since that was exactly what Nami had told him to do and you quote "until the deck was spotless of snow" which was physically impossible from how fast it fell from the sky above.
