It was the night of the party, and while the Cullens were downstairs getting the place ready for the birthday girl. Bella and Kiara were at the Cullen girl's room getting ready for the party... well it was actually more like Kiara was dressing Bella up and listening to her complaining.
"Why do I need a party? And dressing up?" Bella asked her best friend, as Kiara was doing her hair and make up.
"Because Bells, eighteen is special. You're finally an adult." She told her "I for starters can't wait to turn eighteen and finish high school and... who knows maybe finally find my soulmate." Kiara mumbled, suddenly feeling sad about being the only one in the family without a mate.
Bella furrow her brows and looked at her "Nymphs have soulmates?"
Kiara looked at her like she was crazy "Of course. What do you think? That my kind stay alone forever?" She asked her with a smirk.
"No of course not." Bella said, as she turned around and looked at herself in the mirror again.
Kiara smiled at her "Great, you're all ready. And pretty." She said standing Bella up and walking her towards the full length mirror.
Bella's hair was swept back with a black hairband and she wore an olive green, knee length dress with black details and black sleeves.
"Thanks Kara." Bella smiled and looked at her "You look really good too. The dress suits you." Bella commented and Kiara smiled.
"Thanks Bella."
Kiara wore a white dress that reached a little over her knees with a leather jacket.

"Come on it's time." Kiara smiled at her, as she took her hand and the two of them left the room.

Everyone was at the living room waiting for Bella and Edward. After her make over, Kiara took Bella to Edward to talk before the party, while she went downstairs to see if everything was ready for her Protected.
Kiara stood next to her father and she smiled wildly, when she saw her uncle and best friend at the top of the stairs as they made their way down. Bella was glancing around the room, candles and flowers littered the whole place as the Cullens stood in the middle. Her breath caught at the sight, she didn't expect this much attention on her all at once.
