Edward stared at the mountains surrounding them.
"Now I am become death..." He muttered.
"Destroyer of worlds!" his niece finished for him as they stood side by side.
Kiara glanced at her uncle, before she reached her hand out and gripped his hand. Edward squeezed her hand, letting his fall to his side when she released him.
"It's not gonna be easy." He stated.
"No it won't. But if we are together. It will be." Kiara told him "If all of us work together we will beat the bitch and her army."
Edward looked at his niece and nodded his head.

Jacob dropped Bella from his hold, and the human rushed to her fiancée and Kiara, pulling Edward into a tight embrace that Edward returned.
"Thank you." the vampire spoke, aiming it towards the werewolf.
Bella looked to Jacob "You should get back before the storm hits." she warned.
"No, I'm staying." Jacob denied "You'll need my connection to the pack to keep tabs on what's going on. Besides Blake wants me to keep a look on Kara." He stated as he looked towards the Nymph, who nodded at him.
"You're not gonna fight?" Bella asked, relieved that she didn't have to worry about him getting himself killed.
"Seth will spell me in the morning. He's not happy about missing the action but it'll keep him out of trouble." He tried using the younger wolf as an excuse, but he knew the whole reason he wanted to stay was because he wanted to protect Bella.
Edward and Kiara knew it too, the vampire hearing Jacob thoughts quite loudly. And Kiara just knew her best friend too well.
"Let's get you inside." He muttered to Bella and Kiara, leading them into the tent he set up.

It was dark outside. And it was freezing. Bella was trembling from the cold, and Kiara was using her fire power to try and keep her Protected warm. But she was getting tired of using one of her strongest powers for so long.
Edward had watched his mate and niece, feeling useless. He could see how tired his niece was and he felt awful that he couldn't do anything to help either one of them.
"I should have chose a site lower down." He told them feeling bad.
"No it's fine." Bella told him through gritted teeth.
"It's fine uncle Edward." Kiara said through gritted teeth.
"No it's not fine Kara. You're not fine, you look exhausted." Edward told her worriedly "What can I do?" He asked them.
