In Meesum's room
Author's POV:
Miraal flinched when she heard "Miraal, Miraal" in a stern voice of Meesum who was very irritated because from last 30 minutes he gave her past papers to solve but she was lost somewhere in her thoughts rather than solving the questions.
She looked at him and her chocolate brown eyes met with his light brown ones, both of them looked at eachother, Meesum forgetting all the anger and irritation he was having, thus Miraal also forgetting the frustration she was having as she was being forced to study by her soon to be husband just three days before their marriage.
But God wasn't with them today because Miraal's pen dropped making both of them break the eye contact and step out of their trance.
Meesum said"Tum kuch soch rahi thi, shayad tumne questions solve kar liye hain saray, lao mai check karun" with sarcasm dropping from his words before forwarding his hand to take her spiral notebook from her. Instead of forwarding her notebook to him she held it tightly while stuttering "Na-na-nahi, voh-voh, mai-mai-mai ne-ne".
Listening to her stuttering Meesum told her "Miraal bakri ki tarhah mai mai mai kya kar rahi, pichle 30 minutes se tumhe questions diye hain maine, aur 10 minutes se tum kisi gehri soch mei gum ho, ab tak toh ho jana chahiye, lao dikhao". Saying so he snatched her notebook from her.
He gave her 30 questions to solve out of which she only completed 22 questions and she was sure that they were wrong too because his facial expressions was getting angrier and angrier as he started checking her answers.
He raised his head and glared at her while scolding her "Zubaan toh tumhari bohat chalti hai, dimagh ko bhi thora sa chala liya karo toh ye jo 17 questions ghalat hue hain na ye kuch behtar hote". Miraal ignored his scolding and stated her reason not to focus in studying "Meesum ab toh meri shaadi hone wali hai parhai mei dimagh laga ke kya karna vaise bhi ap toh apni biwi ko pass kar hi deingey, Haina" she knew her statement made Meesum even more angrier because his jaw was clenched.
Sensing the danger Miraal ran out of her fiance's room yelling "Ayi Bari ammi"

Miraal's POV:
Luckily when I ran from his room, Bari ammi actually called me to her room. When I went there, all the cool young ladies of Jafry Family were already present there; Bijaan, Mamma and Choti mamma.
As I entered the room which had a very obviously serious environment and all their heated gazes were upon me so to lighten the environment a bit I decided to joke but even before I could say anything I heard Mamma saying "Koi bachkana baat nahi Miraal" to shh me and let me tell you all she got successful in that.
I looked at Bari ammi with my puppy eyes because I know she always melts for that haha, and it did worked as she told Mamma "Uffo kya hogaya hai Lubaba, kyun meri bachi ko daantti rehti ho, idher aa mera bacha, mere pass aja, ab apko koi nahi kuch kahega, okay". She called me to sit beside her and started comforting me thinking I was actually affected by Mamma shushing me
Let me tell you something, my soon to be mother in law aka my Bari ammi, she's too innocent as well as emotional lady, that's why she's too innocent but I guess her son got all the cunningness of her part as well.
I still couldn't get the reason they all called me here so I asked them, "Ap logo ne mujhe yahan kyun bulaya hai?". Bari ammi opened her mouth to answer me but before she could answer all of us heard a loud voice of very angry Meesum "Ap yahan kyun ayi hain? Parhai hogayi thi puri? Saray questions sahi se answer kiye thay? Ya mujhse pucha tha?" he started asking me back to back questions.
I had no answer so I there mum not answering him and as well all know he is the great Meesum Jafry, how can he stay happy without scolding me. Scolding me makes him happy, his day can't be completed without scolding me millions of times 'His day also can't be completed without apologizing or romancing ' my conscience mocked me, to which I started blushing furiously standing in front of everyone.
"O hello madam, kidher ghayab hain ap?" Meesum said while snapping his fingers in front of my face, breaking my trance and bringing me back into reality.
'Ughh how can I be such a fool to zone out and blush in front of everyone, now what will they think of me if they saw me blushing' I groaned and slapped my forehead mentally.
Luckily Bari ammi came in front of me hiding me from him before saying "Kya hogaya hai Meesum?Kyun bachi ko dara rahe ho?"
"Toh Ammi ap bhi toh bachi ki harkat dekhein parhai mei koi dehaan nahi hai, 3 mahine mei semester ke final exams hain, kya karegi, upar se jab parhaun toh madam ke pas koi na koi bahane hota hai jaise ke aj tha ke inki shaadi hone wali hai toh ye nahi parheingi" Meesum said complaining to her about me, however he doesn't know one thing that his mother is also on my side so instead of me he will be the one getting scolded. Thinking all this I smirked mentally but to my luck Meesum saw it and what then there was amusement in his eyes.
Soon enough that amusement in his eyes was exchange with accusing as Bari ammi said "Haan toh kya hogaya, meri bachi ki pehli shaadi hai, vo bhi shaadi zindagi mei pehli bar hi hoti hai". She hugged me by my side showing her support for me as she continued "Usko force karne ki zaroorat nahi hai, abhi uska dil nahi hai toh na sahi shaadi ke baad parha dena, abhi usko enjoy karne do, aur niklo yahan se" she told him pointing toward the door.
Meesum look at Mamma and she said "Beta mujhe toh kabhi kabhi lagta hai ye dono hi asli maa beti hain, choro abhi uska kuch nahi hosakta, shaadi ke baad isko sahi se rakhna".
Listening to her I again looked at Bari ammi and she looked at Mamma trying to scare her but she miserably failed because she was looking way too cute to be scary.
Thus everyone turned and stated to leave the room including me. As I passed Meesum's room to go towards mine since my room was the one beside Meesum's but suddenly a creaking sound came and...

Aira's POV:
After all the announcement chaos the dinner finally came to an end. Everyone started to retriete to their rooms so did I.
As I entered in my room and closed the door, I saw someone's shadow behind me....
