𝟭𝟯 - 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘄.

3 years have passed,

Sunoo still hasn't come back. It's sad, i miss him so much.

" Papa! " Eva said and came running to me.

" Yes? "

" I got a friend at school! "

" Oh, nice. What's their name? "

" His name is Elijah "
She said with a smile on her face.

" Cool, wanna get ice cream? "

" Yes yes yes! " she said and started jumping around.

Those cute smiles reminds me of Sunoo, i miss him very much.

" hi sir, what flavor do you wanna get? "
The cashier asked.

" One mint choco , and one strawberry. Though could you microwave the strawberries? I don't like them cold. "

" I'm sorry sir, but we can't microwave the strawberries. "

" ah, I'll just get vanilla. "

" Ok, one mint choco ice cream and one vanilla. Is that correct? "

" Yes. "

" That'll be $22."

I handed out the money and took our ice creams.

" Papa? "
Ava said and tapped my shoulder.
" Yes? "

" Do you remember the boy you used to tell me about? My other papa? Where is he? "

I couldn't speak.

" H-he's not here yet. Let's just wait for him. "

" But, it's been months.. Can you use your phone thingy to text him?"

" No, I'm sorry. Let's just go home. It's already night. "

" oh, ok.. " she said and pouted as she stood up and took my hand so we could walk to the car.

But before we could go inside, i noticed two familiar figures walking down the street. Though, i couldn't see that well since it was already dark.
I didn't mind it and just went in.

" Papa? "

" What? "

" Papa.. " she said,

" PAPA! LOOK IT'S PAPA! " she shouted and pointed outside

" Your papa is not here, Eva. " i said as i took out my phone to check the time.

" papa.. Papa is with another person? "

" Eva. How many times do i tell you that your papa— is not here.."
My voice broke when i saw,

Tears rolled down my cheeks.
" papa? Why are you crying? "

I didn't utter a word. I immediately started the engine and drove off.

𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘷𝘢, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘪 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶.

I thought. I was tired. Very very tired.

So many thoughts were going through my head.

My vision started to get blurry because of the tears.
That was when, i blacked out.

As i was walking down the street with Taki, my phone started ringing.

" 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙤𝙤! 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙤𝙤, 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚. 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡. 𝙄𝙩'𝙨, 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙉𝙞-𝙠𝙞. 𝙃𝙚— 𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙫𝙖. 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚! "
I could hear his worried voice on the other line.

" I'm coming.. " i said and hung up.

" I'm sorry Taki. But i have to go. " i said and put my phone on my pocket and got inside a taxi.

A few minutes passed,

" Uncle Jakey, is papa gonna wake up? " Eva asked Jake as she looked through the window of her Ni-ki's hospital room.

" Yes. He's gonna wake up. " Jake answered.

I sat down on one of the chairs and played with my fingers, trying not to make eye contact.

I saw Eva, again. After 3 years. I guess Ni-ki raised her well.

" Sunoo, are you okay? "
Jake asked.

" Y-yeah. I'm fine.. "

" Are you sure? "

" Yes. I'm ok. "

" Well, I'm gonna go get something in my car. Can you watch Eva when i go? "

" Uhm, sure. I guess. "

" Ok.. I'll be back in a while. Eva, don't be too stubborn ok? "

" Ok, uncle Jakey. " she said and sat down next to me.

" Papa? "
She said and tapped my shoulder.

" Y-yes? "
