Next day,

Jungwon shouted as he ran towards me.

I said and pulled Jungwon to an empty classroom.

" no one can know about that other than you, me, Ni-ki, Jake, And the others. Don't even try to spread gossips about that won, me and Ni-ki just found that baby on the streets and i had flashbacks of what happened to me before you and your parents adopted me. I don't like seeing someone experience the way i experienced my hard life before. "
I explained and he looked shocked,

" so you adopted the baby? "

" yes, please don't tell anyone unless i tell you to.. "
I said and looked down at my shoes, which gave him a sign of me begging.

" i won't, i understand how you feel. But who'll take care of the baby? What about Ni-ki? How do you both take care of the kid? "

" well, we left Eva at the daycare where their workers accept on taking care of toddlers. "

" hmm, ok. "

" and I'm gonna find a part time job, i guess. Jake is taking care of Eva in the weekends. "

" oh ok, but how are you gonna tell mom and dad? "

" i-i don't know.. "
I said,

Silence, not one of us were talking.
But instead of worrying about Ni-ki, i worried about Eva

" you're gonna pay for ruining my shirt ugly sunoo! "
The boy screamed as he raised his hand so little Sunoo couldn't reach his toy,

" my mommy gave me that! Give it back please.. "

" no, i don't care if your mommy gave you this. You ruined my shirt! "
The boy said and slapped Sunoo which left the little innocent kid a mark on his face.
The boy then started to kick Sunoo until the boy was caught by the caretaker.

[𝙀𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠]

" Hey you ok? You seem sad. "
Ni-ki asked so i just shrugged my worries off.
" Y-yeah. I'm just worried about Eva "

" i told you, there's nothing to be worried about, i got her a private room so she could stay there. "

" what if the caretakers are mistreating her? "
I said as tears started to roll down my cheeks.

" shhh, it's gonna be ok. Now stop crying, hm? " he said in a low tone of voice as he held my hand again,

he sound of his voice was calm. somehow it made me feel less worried.

- Ni-ki's Pov -

" WHAT THE HELL NI-KI?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US THAT YOU WERE TAKING CARE OF A LITERAL CHILD?! I DID NOT RAISE YOU TO BE LIKE THIS! "
Dad shouted as he slammed his fist on his desk,

" I'm sorry.. "

" Now you don't have anymore money because you wasted it all on that Goddamn child! "

" It was not even your money! I worked 3 part time jobs! Don't you even realize my hardwork? "

" Now the company is failing because of you. I don't care whatever you say, you're gonna handle this. "

" dad, I'm not a kid anymore. I'm 20 years old, i can take care of my life and the baby's life with or without your consent. "
I said and walked out of his office.

I wasn't gonna let them stop me for doing what i want to do, they've been controlling my life since i was a kid. I've grown now, I'm not like the pathetic little kid i used to be.

As soon as i got out of the car, i immediately went inside the house.

Yes, me and Sunoo have saved enough money to buy a house for the three of us. The apartment before was small and not really that big so it wasn't enough.

" Oh, you're home! " Sunoo said with a warm smile on his face that could easily melt someone within seconds.

" hey. "

" are you okay? You seem a bit off. "
He said,
" My parents, they want me to run the company on my own. But i declined, and they've found out about Eva. "

" Oh, I'm sorry you're going through that.. I shouldn't have asked. Do you want me to make you dinner? "
He said while hugging me,
His hugs were so warm.

" No, I'm not hungry. "

" too late, I'm going to make you food now. "

He said and ran off to the kitchen,

After a while, I've finished eeating the food that Sunoo made me. Still good as usual.
I went upstairs to go to the bedroom and get some clothes

As soon as i went in, i saw Sunoo and Eva sleeping next to each other. Just like how they were sleeping when we recently found Eva alone in the streets.

After changing my clothes, i went to sleep. With Sunoo of course, there was only one bed and we couldn't leave Eva alone in one room so we could sleep separately.
