He was sitting next to Fallon. Fallon obviously was all up on him. The boy was extremely handsome. He looked to be about my age. He had devilish hair that stuck up in two directions. He was a lean guy and if he stood up, he would be a good amount taller than me.

His brown eyes bore into mine. They were of some other universe and they showed a million stars in one glimmer. Something inside me clicked and I wasn't sure what it was. My stomach became filled with a tingly feeling and it was like I won over with that one look from the boy.

I was caught off guard by Sam clearing his throat. I looked back to him. He looked at me with an eyebrow raised. I suddenly felt my cheeks go warm. If Sam noticed me staring at the boy, then did everyone else see me staring at him? I pushed the thought away, trying to remain calm in a situation like this. It wasn't like me to show my infatuation for someone. Even I hid my crush on Sam, well.

I looked back toward everyone who was looking at me. Some of their expressions were readable, while others seemed happy to see a new girl like me. I was just glad that no one was making snarky comments about me, well not just yet that is.

I looked over to Fallon who seemed to be reading my mind. I knew what was coming when the sweet smile came to her face. She whispered something to the handsome boy's ear and then got up from the table and started to walk toward me.

"There you are Luna!" she said all blissfully. All I could think about was that she was just acting nice so others would like her. That's all she ever did around people anyway.

"Hi!" I said matching her tone. I was surprised I wasn't as agitated as I should've been with her. After all, she did attack me on the plane.

She looked to be taken aback by my voice. "Well, what took you so long? You and Mr. Maple had been getting it on?" She winked at me.

I looked at her with hysteria. Did she just say that out loud? It was a false accusation of course, but blurting something like that out makes people very curious. I didn't want to become the teachers "pet" the first day at a new home. Fallon just had to ruin my good mood, didn't she?

I quickly took a glance at Mr. Maple, who seemed to be just as shocked as I was. I then turned back to Fallon, who had this evil look in her eyes. I briskly fumbled out my words before anyone would actually believe what Fallon was saying. "Where did you get that from? He's my teacher, Fallon."

Fallon wasn't expecting me to say anything according to her facial expression. She quickly recovered though, making it very clear that I did not have the upper hand with my rebuttal. "Oh people talk, Luna," she said batting her eyelashes at Mr. Maple and me. I stared at her, in complete disbelief.

"That's enough with that Fallon," Sam said, looking very angry with her as well. "You will not only apologize to Luna about what you just accused to her of, but you will apologize to me in addition. There is nothing going on between her and me. If you would like to know, you had attacked Luna in the plane, so Mrs. Salazar saw it fit to separate you two. So if you are done with this childish behavior that you so happen to come forth with, then you will apologize and leave at once...no wait, you will apologize to everyone here for your little scene that you have made." He made his voice very deep to show just how intimidating he could be.

Not only was Fallon rattled up by how assertive Mr. Maple could be, but I was too. Fallon's face was priceless as she turned back to me. "I'm sorry Luna for making that accusation." Then turned to Mr. Maple and said the same thing. She turned her back to look at the kids who were all just staring at the scene with disbelief. "I'm sorry to all of you for this scene that took up your dinning time." Then she ran out of the dining hall quicker than you could say mothballs.
