While I was eating, the other teens went off to the study room. I sat and finished my food before I headed to the classroom, where the house mother had directed me to go. Once I was by the room, I saw that the door was half opened. I took a peek inside to see that she was standing by her desk while a different male figure was sitting at the edge of the brown teachers desk, facing her and his back toward me. I didn't go in just yet because they were talking.

"Who decided to bring her here in the first place?" the man asked.

"I think we all know who brought her here. Now we just have to deal with it...I think we should tell her so then she can adjust to the news. I think we all know she has to know sometime. Time is ticking, Eros," I heard Mrs. Clabourg tell the man named Eros.

I had no clue what they were talking about, but it did seem important. I didn't want to disturb them, but Mrs. Clabourg did say to meet her here when I was finished. So I did the only thing I could do and knocked on the door. Mrs. Clabourg's head snapped to my direction and the man that was sitting on top of the desk got up to turn as well.

I started to get nervous. They did seem deep in conversation just a minute ago...maybe I shouldn't have knocked. I probably should have just waited until they were finished talking...

Mrs. Clabourg's once flinty face turned into a mirthful smile. She came my way with the loving mother aura surrounding her. "Ah, Luna, come in," she stated, opening the door wider for me to go past her.

I gave her a soft smile and walked beyond her and into the classroom. I looked around seeing that the classroom was bigger than the last one back in my previous home. I was showed the classroom earlier, but it was like I was now noticing what it was like to be in here. Before, I took a quick look, but now, at the most inappropriate time, I looked over the place.

There were twenty desks, not including the teachers, all in rows of five. The walls were covered in different kind of posters that ranged from math units to the map of the world. Up front was a big white board, and to the far end were drawers that I assumed the teachers used. After looking around the room, I took in the scent of lemon before looking to the man that Mrs. Clabourg called Eros.

"Luna this is Eros. Eros is going to be your tactics teacher this year," Mrs. Clabourg said behind me, resting her hand on my shoulder.

I looked up to her. "Tactics teacher...?" My eyebrows furrowed making a V shape between them.

"We have different kinds of subjects here than you're used to, Luna. But I'll explain that a little later. Why don't you have a seat?" she asked gesturing with her hands for me to sit on one of the desks.

I did as I was told, looking at Eros as I went. I wasn't really sure what it was about the male teachers I kept seeing, or the male population for that matter. If they weren't careful, I might've ended up in frenzy of lust and maybe a tiny bit of love.

Eros was huge in structure. His face showed kindness nonetheless. He had a full head of blonde voluminous hair, a creased forehead that indicated his age, bushy eyebrows, sparkling blue eyes, a medium to large nose, stubble which made out into a beard, and small lined lips which came out into a small smirk. His height and structure screamed killing machine, yet I felt safe around him.

I took my seat letting my thoughts drift away as Mrs. Clabourg took her side next to him. She put an arm through Eros's protectively. It seemed like this crush would end in a matter of seconds because what I realized was that they were together and they looked cute.

"Hello Luna," Mr. Eros said to me with a very strong sturdy voice. Not only did his structure hold power, but his voice did too.

"Hello," I said shyly.
