After the deal was made, Aro ordered the Witch Twins to bring Chaos and Shadow to their room. Only the three Volturi kings remained with a few guards, and silence filled the room until..
"Chelsea? Did you use your power on those two earlier?" Aro's voice broke the awkward atmosphere. From among the Volturi guards, a brown-haired woman stepped out, bowed to them and said , "Yes, master. But it doesn't seem to have any effect on them, it's like..."
"It's like they're unaffected by our abilities." Aro finished it with a tone like he already knew it. Silence enveloped the room again.
"Just keep watching them. They seem to like Jane and Alec, maybe this is the chance to invite them to join the Volturi."
Meanwhile, with our favorite destroyers...
"Hey Baby Face, why do you look so grumpy? I remember you being the one who nodded when asked by your master to be our companion. Hmmm..?" Chaos asked Jane while floating beside her with a smile on her face.
They were going deep inside the castle to reach Chaos and Shadow's room. Since both of them are "special" guests, their room is one of the largest, most beautiful rooms and has the closest view to the garden.
Alec could see his sister almost exploding at Chaos' constant annoyance. They could get to that room quickly but because these two don't want to, they have to walk at human speed and there's nothing they can do about it. What can you do when there are guests who are so scary that even their masters are scared too.
Jane desperately wanted to tell Chaos to shut up, but she couldn't. It's not because she's afraid of Chaos, but inside she doesn't want Chaos to stop talking, there's something about Chaos' voice that attracts her. But she will never admit it.
From a distance, Shadow can see that Jane is attracted to Chaos even though she and Chaos certainly don't notice. He doesn't blame Jane because Chaos always has a way of seducing other girls without her noticing. "Haizzz, why is CC so attractive to other girls," Shadow thought tiredly. With Chaos' charm and her ignorance about love, it will be difficult for the person who falls in love with her later on, and it will be difficult for her to understand what love is in the future.
