Italy, 1915.
In the battlefield, both sides fight with all their might, hoping the other will cease, for their side to win. Unnoticed, two figures float above them, watching the battle as if it were a game.
The figure with glowing red eyes hovers emotionless, while the one with glowing blue eyes, sitting cross-legged with a box of popcorn conjured by her powers, watches the battle with a smile. Her smile broadens, becoming more bloodthirsty, when a soldier screams in pain or blood is shed.
" Hey Shadow, want some popcorn?" , Chaos asked, offering Shadow the popcorn as they continued to hover above the battle. " I know it tastes bad right now, but a little human blood and fear... Bam! A delicious blood popcorn is born" , She enjoys the carnage below, as who wouldn't enjoy a human battle driven by foolish desires?
Shadow merely nodded, taking some popcorn from Chaos. Their spectral viewing was interrupted when a soldier spotted them. He could have kindly asked them to move, but instead he shouted, " Hey, get out of here now! You’re both blocking our way. Get out before we make you two pee your pants!" , He laughed, oblivious to the danger emanating from Chaos and Shadow, and to the intensifying tension around them.
The sky darkened, and the surrounding wildlife fled further away. The trees seemed to wither, as if something unseen was killing them. Chaos turned to Shadow, her smile replaced by a frown, her fangs and claws becoming longer and sharper. " Hey Shadow, I have an idea..."
Chaos, a super-powered entity, became dangerous when not smiling. She became even more unpredictable and hot-tempered. If it weren't for Shadow's comforting words and restraint, the planet would have been destroyed. But she showed them not to mess with her. With a snap of her fingers, she created a meteorite, crashing it into Earth and ending the age of the dinosaurs.
"...Instead of having these disgusting filthy people here for dessert, we should kill them in the most brutal way, destroy their bodies and souls, and then find a village for food" , Shadow finished her sentence with a dark smile. They both had the same thought: they had to show humans they had messed with the wrong entities.
When aid arrived at the battlefield, they were met with a horrifying sight. The area was filled with blood and human remains, limbs arranged into arrows pointing towards a message, written using the heads of soldiers.

This brutal incident spread fear across Italy, reaching even a vampire clan in Voltera.
