"Already morning? Mnn..." The sunlight streaming through the curtains stabbed at my barely-open eyes, an unwelcome but effective alarm clock. With a groan, I rolled over, burying my face in the pillow like a hermit rejecting society. My voice really feels barely more than a croak, and I sounded like I'd aged 50 years overnight.

''...Last day of the trip, huh?"

Now we have come to the final day, we don't have any mandatory activity

Now we have come to the final day, we don't have any mandatory activity. I can do whatever I want until the campfire tonight, I guess? I really don't like waking up early, but it would be a shame to waste this day doing nothing. Sighing, I rubbed my eyes. "Mhm— Fuutarou, let's go have breakfast."

Except when I managed to shake off the morning fatigue, we were supposed to share the room with a few other guys, but the only thing I saw when I opened my eyes was that I was the only person in the room. Fuutarou and the other boys must have already woken up and left.

My lips twisted into a pout. "What's the hurry...?" I muttered, then sighed dramatically for effect. "Tch, jerks didn't even wake me up." Then again, I have no right to be mad. I'd have pretended to stay asleep if someone tried waking me. Still, it would've been nice to be asked.

Okay, whatever. There's nothing to do about that, I might as well get on with my day. I wonder what Itsuki is up to? She did mention going skiing with the girls this morning. If I text her now, I'll probably just disturb. Maybe I'll join the ski team too—it's about time I got some exercise anyway.

After sitting in bed stewing for another minute, I forced myself up. I peeked out the window. Clear skies and sparkling snow painted the resort postcard-perfect. "...Sunny. Looks like we won't be dealing with another storm for a few days, phew."

Combing hair, brushing teeth, and tugging on my everyday clothes—A routine so literally dull it didn't even deserve narration from me. Since we left our ski gears in the warehouse at the entrance, I'll pick it up later. Right now, breakfast is the goal.

With my daily tasks done, I turned to the window again ''...''Students have already started going to the ski slope, my acquaintances and unknowns. A slight smile forms on my face for no reason whatsoever. "Low-key kind of day so far. Wonder what everyone else is up to..."

I was ready to put on my jackete and head out when two familiar white objects caught my eye on the desk. Itsuki's gloves. "...Hehe~ Can't have her freezing to death. I better take these with me."

With the gloves in hand, I left the room. Some students still hang around the halls, chatting about anything and everything. Not everyone has the spirit for winter sports, after all.

''What are we going to do now, uwaa... We haven't found any council members.''

''L-Lets wait a little longer, sister. I'm sure someone will find us, y-yeah!''
