Reunited

chapter 17

Daniel looked at the results for the 10th time maybe more. He had forgotten how many times he had read it.

Tears ran down his face. He never cried but in this moment he allowed himself a few tears.

He didn't know how to feel. A sense of sadness filled him as he read it again.

It was a match.

She was his daughter .

She was his princess.

Sadness because his little girl had been abused and he had not been there . Then he felt anger, someone had hurt her, someone had made it look like she was dead. Someone was going to pay.

To bad murder was illegal.

Aria had convinced him to let her go to school today so she was currently upstairs. His wife was in the kitchen making breakfast, and he was sat in his office. He didn't know how things were going to go down now.

His wife would get emotional and scare Aria.
Then there was Ares , he had to be told he had a twin. That Aria was the twin.

And Xander, Xander was too young to remember so they spared him the pain and never told him about having a sister.

And Aria, she was either going to hate them or accept them. Either way, he knew she finally was back with her real family. She could hate them as much as she wanted but he would make sure she never felt unloved again.

Jake and Grayson were probably the easiest to tell, they were alot like him. But he knew his wife needed to know first.

So he left his office, Jess was making breakfast and from the looks of it 4  meals were being prepared meaning one of his older sons was in.
He suspected Grayson, Grayson knew about the DNA test and unlike Jakob, he could skip a day as he was the boss of his own company.

"Are you okay" Jess immediately asked.

"Yeah, I received the results" Daniel had no idea how to break it to her so he decided to do it bluntly.

"She's not her is she" Jess asked seeing the sadness on her husband's face.

"Yes she's ours,  our princess" he said quickly not liking the sadness on his wife's face.

Jess burst out crying and quickly threw her arms around Daniel. The two stood hugging each other.

"Mum, Dad , grayson has stolen Aria from me" 

The two parents quickly composed themselves when Ares entered. They had no idea how to tell him.

Both of them looked at him with an expression that confused Ares.

"How has he stolen her " Daniel decided now was not the best time.

"He's talking to her" Ares muttered.

Jess couldn't help but smile. Her twins didn't even know they were twins but still acted like it.

"Jealous, little brother " Grayson walked in with a smug grin.

"Mum tell him not to go near her" Ares said.

"Wait where is she? Is she okay?" He continued seeing she wasn't following him.

"She's fine, she's just packing her bag for school. Calm down Ares" Grayson replied.

And sure enough Aria walked in with Xander. She had gotten a little lost but thankfully ran into Xander who was coming downstairs to the kitchen so they walked together.
