Reunited

chapter 25

Ares and Aria took their seats at the back of the class.
Daisy and Ethan were sat in front of them.

"Is everything okay Aria" Ethan asked once the twins had sat down.
Ethan had witnessed Luke's behaviour in the past and had instantly put a stop to it.

"Yeah everything is fine" Aria said. She was still unsure of Ethan, she had only spoken to him a couple times and wasn't sure if the reason he was nice to her was because of her friendship with Ares.

"Yeah everything will be fine" Ares said. Partly to comfort Aria and the other part of him was hoping after he was finished with Luke, he wouldn't be a problem again.

"I saw your brother on the way to class. How come he's here" Ethan sensed the edge in Ares tone and decided to change the subject slightly.

"To ruin our fun. He's getting extra credit or something like that.  Personally I think he's going to show up randomly to make sure we've eaten all our fruit and vegetables " Ares replied adding a little joke for Aria's benefit.

"Oh I can totally see him checking your lunch" Ethan said knowing how serious Jake was about being healthy.

As class started, the conversations died down and they slowly did the work set by the teacher. Ares noticed a while ago that Aria always knew the answer but now he was feeling a sense of pride. His twin was brilliant.

It also made him want to focus more. He didn't want to disappoint Aria.

A few classes later and Ares reluctantly left Aria however she was with Daisy and Ethan. He knew she'd be ok with Ethan around.

Ares met up with Xander in the gym locker room where he had pinned Luke against the wall.

"I haven't even been near her" Luke exclaimed.

"We know. Tell us why you hate her so much. You don't seem to hate your other sister " Xander asked.

Luke was quiet and then a small smirk made it's way onto his face.

"I don't have to anwser to you. Quite frankly I think your obsession with her is weird. Just sleep with her and throw her away. She's a slut you know. She won't mind you using her. Might do you good"

"I'm gonna be sick" Xander muttered.

How could he talk about her like that.

Ares saw red and began to attack Luke.

Xander took a little longer as he thought about the words. It was a sick thought but if he spoke so casually about her like that, had he abused her sexually?

He snapped and began attacking Luke. Luke tried to fight back but every time he was knocked back down.

"Not on school grounds" Xander finally said pulling Ares away.

They couldn't kill him on school grounds.

"You're never to go near her again. You are never to say her name, you are never to call her your sister. You are not even allowed to think about her" Xander warned as he watched Luke cough up blood.

The brothers left the locker room knowing Luke probably had a lot of broken bones, bruised, even a few burn marks. They hadn't held back.

Luke eventually managed to get up and he made his way to the nurses office knowing he needed to go to the hospital but he required immediate attention first.

Jake was sat in the chair that usually was occupied by the school nurse.

"What happened to you. Come sit. We need to call your parents and get you to a hospital" Jake said.
