--------------

David's life had not gotten any better since he left his childhood home...

He met an amazing woman, married her, only for her to become comatose in a car accident 3 days after their 4th year Anniversary.

He had kids, two twin boys, and loved them alot. But one day he sent them off to school, and they never returned home...

He got a good paying job and he was about to get a promotion, but he was suddenly fired without reason the day he was supposed to get it.

And now here he was...on the run from HIM, his own Alternate...

David had managed to survive it the first time he encountered Him a few days after he was fired, and now his life had become an endless game of Hide and Seek.

If HE found David; Instant Death...

Right now, David sat within the minimal safety of his truck as he quickly tried to finish his meal of a burger and fries that he had purchased from a fast food restaurant with the money he had scavenged throughout the 3 months he had managed to stay alive, occasionally glancing at either window of his vehicle, being alert for His presence.

The silence that engulfed him was far too deadly for David to be calm. His hands were shaky and his heart was racing and his breathing was short and quick.

David continued to eat fast, not really caring if he choked. He was scared, his eyes darted from left to right as he shoved the last of his burger into his mouth and chewed before swallowing. As soon as he finished his food, he quickly got out of his truck and with his tray of trash and ran outside to the nearest trash can and dumped it, bolting back to his truck as soon as he did so and slammed the door once he was in his seat. He was not taking any chances in case HE was nearby.

David sat in his seat with his hands gripping onto the wheel, breathing heavily in and shaking a little bit. He then took out his car keys and shoved them into the ignition and started the engine. He was preparing to leave when he suddenly remembered something; The mini cassette tape and tape recorder he kept in the glove department of his truck! Originally he had kept it in there as a joke, however seeing the situation he's in now and the fact he most likely wouldn't be lasting much longer, it would probably be best to leave a final message for people to find...if they ever do...

David dug through the glove compartment and eventually found it buried in the back. He then placed the tape into the recorder and started recording.

"This is for anyone who finds my truck, if they ever do...It's been 6 months, maybe more, since I've been running from him...since my wife died and my boys went missing. I have no idea where I am, or how this even happened. All I know is that that bastard has something to do with it..." David said.

(Sniff) "Ugh...To anyone who does manage to find this tape, I just want to say this; Don't fall for his tricks just like my sister did...For all he ever does is lie through his teeth...He's been tricking us this whole time and we were all too stupid to realize it. And now we're paying the price for it..."

(Cough! Cough!) (Sniff) "I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to last...but if I don't make it out of this, remember: Even if we do get rid of them he'll always find a way to make us more miserable than we are now...and this most likely isn't the end of it..."
