There are two papers in Arabic, one is a reading paper and the other one is a writing paper
If u don't understand something about how the exam works and u understand NOTHING from ur teacher then Youtube and r/igcse and it's Discord server are your friends:))
Reading paper:
Understand how دمج النصين works so that u can do it effectively cuz that's harder than a summary for an individual text
Some prompts are easier bcuz they say, for example, summarize the solutions of global warming
Read the comprehension questions carefully
Writing paper:
25 marks for each writing piece
2 writing piece
One is like a persuasive essay and the other one is a kind of a descriptive narrative
Write neatly, it's CRUCIAL ( heck even try to find a good pen that will write, preferably like the pentel inkjet the blue one 0.7 thickness that I used in the exam). My handwriting is 50 50 like kinda sucks but kinda doesn't ( it depends on the effort)
Read about a WIDE variety of topics in preparation for your paper 2, u don't know what might come in the paper so u don't be brainstorming forever. Also it will help u with the higher vocab
No brainer, practice as many past papers as u can find
There is a sample candidate response from 2017 that is very useful, I even used a few figures from there. Find it and take a look. I was looking over it the night before the exam. I wish somebody had told me AND sent the link to me earlier.
Here is the link:

Also I will attach it as an external link
What might come in the paper:
Disclaimer it's a HOW TO know and I am not predicting for October/ November later this year
So basically, you know the Arabic coursebook, see those topics read more about ANY topic related to them. The odd's are SUPER high that the topics will be those big subheads in the book
And it goes without saying that past papers will also help you alot.
Also, as far as I know, there hasn't been ANY repetition of topics ( like what came in the past paper once has come and evaporated from existence per se). YET, this doesn't mean that u shouldn't practice past papers, u should bcuz it offers a GREAT opportunity for you to practice ur exam technique
More resources:
There are people on YouTube explaining to u the concepts and solving past papers ( though don't expect THAT many past papers to be solved).
Just type Arabic 0508 and u will find vids
